Brad Pitt’s Jaw-Dropping F1 Film Reveals Dozens of Tattoos
Brad Pitt, in an unusual step, revealed his muscular torso without a shirt for a snapshot, advertising his upcoming movie titled “F1” about Grand Prix racing.
The 61-year-old star was also revealing just how many tattoos he has, and it appears to be dozens.
On his chest and arms, there were numerous markings visible, as he lounged casually on a sunny yellow couch, dressed in loose-fitting, white trousers that hung off him.
The tattoos are his real marks and not fake for his movie character.
In the course of his relationship with Angelina Jolie, who is famously inked with designs such as “Know Your Rights” and a cross, Brad also began getting tattoos. Some of his Cambodian tattoos bear a resemblance to those sported by Angelina.
Additionally, there are distinct symbols for Angelina on him, such as her birthdate inscribed on his lower body and an ‘A’ representing her given name.
Previously, the Academy Award winner has subtly suggested his body art through displays of tattoos on various limbs. However, a recent image offers a more definitive glimpse into his deep-rooted passion for tattoos.
Pitt’s new film F1 is set to come out in movie theaters on June 27, 2025.
Over the last couple of years, the film has been shot at diverse Formula One races across the planet, and it features actors like Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo.
Pitt’s tats have different meanings that reflect his interests.
On his left forearm, he has a French phrase that translates to ‘life is absurd.’
As a devoted admirer, I proudly display a rendering of the world’s first known modern human, Ötzi the Iceman, adorning my wall. Beneath this masterpiece, the word “Invictus,” powerfully inscribed in bold capitals, serves as a testament to his indomitable spirit.
A slender, upright line stretches along Pitt’s right arm, meeting a horizontal one near the base of his wrist, creating a cross.
The letter ‘A,’ for Angelina, is inked on the left side of the cross.
On his right side, he sports the first letters representing each of his six kids: ‘M’ stands for Maddox, ‘P’ signifies Pax, ‘Z’ is for Zahara, ‘S’ denotes Shiloh, ‘K’ symbolizes Knox and ‘V’ represents Vivienne.
Additionally, there is a tattoo of Angelina Jolie’s birthdate inscribed in Khmer (the national language of Cambodia, where Maddox was born) located on his lower stomach.
There are also tattoos of ‘Alpha’ and ‘Omega’.
And there is a sketch of a motorcycle on his upper arm.
There are lines draw by Jolie on his back which he had covered in permanent ink.
Every day, as I gaze at the ink etched on my inner arm, I find myself deeply moved by the words of the great Rumi. Tattooed there is his poetic masterpiece: ‘In a realm transcending right and wrong, I eagerly await our reunion.’ It’s a profound reminder that we are destined to connect in a space beyond judgment and duality.
Next to the Rumi poem, he has the black silhouette of a man standing above his shadow
On the left side of Pitt, there’s a black drawing of a tornado. His legs bear images, one of a rhino’s head and another of a human skull.
For a number of years, F1 has been under development, with Brad being spotted in Las Vegas (Sin City), Abu Dhabi, and Texas, where he interacted with drivers and filmed various scenes.
In November, Brad fainted on the track in Las Vegas during shooting as it was part of the scene.
In a surprising turn of events, the lead actor known for films like Fight Club and Bullet Train, was spotted falling to the ground after fainting on the movie set.
Fainting was just a stunt for his upcoming Formula One-based film.
As a devoted follower of the racing scene, I found myself clad in complete apprehension, stepping cautiously away from the site of a devastating crash – a spectacle that left an indelible mark on me.
Pitt, acting as Sonny Hayes, stumbled repeatedly on his feet prior to falling onto a cushioned mat supported by a team member.
In a playful twist, the fictitious racing team, APX GP, associated with Pitt’s character Hayes, put out a teasing announcement, generating excitement for the forthcoming launch.
According to the statement, Sonny experienced a substantial blow during Qualifying that necessitated an immediate examination by a medical professional.
We treat events of such size with utmost importance, and at the forefront is ensuring Sonny’s wellbeing.
As a lifestyle expert, I want to share some updates regarding our friend Sonny. Although he’s generally doing well, he has chosen to take a step back tomorrow and focus solely on his healing process. So, we’ll miss him at the event, but rest assured that his health and recovery are our top priorities right now.
1) “Everyone on our team is supporting him, and we’ll share information as it comes. Tomorrow, Joshua will compete individually while representing us all.”
2) “Our whole team is with him, and we’ll keep you posted when there’s news. Joshua will race alone tomorrow, embodying the spirit of our team.”
3) “The entire team is backing him up, and we’ll share details as they emerge. Tomorrow, Joshua will race independently while symbolizing our team’s advancement.”
4) “We are unitedly supporting him, and updates will be shared when possible. Tomorrow, Joshua will compete individually, pushing the team forward.”
5) “Our whole crew is on his side, and we’ll give you updates as they happen. Tomorrow, Joshua will race alone but with the spirit of our team driving him forward.
In the movie’s summary, Pitt plays an ex-Formula 1 driver who reenters the world of racing with a made-up team, APXGP, where he takes on the roles of both mentor and partner to a promising younger racer.
He and Damson Idris, portraying teammate Joshua Pearce, go head-to-head with titans of the sport.)
The upcoming movie, which will be directed by Joseph Kosinski (who was also behind Top Gun: Maverick with Tom Cruise), is scheduled for a theater release in June 2025.
In October, Brad was additionally seen at the Mexican Grand Prix in Mexico City for the purpose of shooting extra footage.
In addition to starring in the movie, Brad also serves as one of its producers, alongside Lewis Hamilton who is a renowned Formula One racer. The film was a joint production with Formula 1 and its community. All ten Formula 1 teams, along with their drivers, the FIA, and promoters of the races played significant roles in ensuring the story’s accuracy.
According to Deadline, Apple purchased the F1 package for an estimated cost between $130 million and $140 million; this figure does not account for the wages of key personnel such as the actors, director, screenwriter, and producers.
In the trailer launched in July, Pitt starts by listing the corporations supporting the Formula One teams, and expresses his need for a vehicle capable of surpassing its current speed, to Condon.
On the racetrack, Pitt could be spotted zooming by with Queen’s “We Will Rock You” blaring in the backdrop. As he reached top speed, there was a sudden transition to a title slide.
