What is the tournament format?
The competition is divided into three distinct rounds – Round 1, Round 2, and the Playoff Round. In the initial round, we have a 16-team Swiss System setup, with each match being a best-of-three series. The top eight teams advance to the following round.
In the second round, the structure remains comparable: it’s a series of best-of-three games, and the top eight competitors advance to the playoffs. During the playoffs, the format switches to single elimination, with all matches except for the Grand Finals being best-of-three series. The unique aspect of this tournament is that the Grand Finals are a best-of-five match.
What are the prize pool distribution and standings?
In this competition, the grand total of the prize money is set at $400,000. The winning team takes home a cool $100,000, whereas the second-place team receives an amount equal to half of that, which amounts to $50,000.
