Discord introduces new Ignore feature
As a dedicated Discord user, I appreciate the new Ignore function that allows me to customize my Discord experience according to my preferences. This useful tool empowers me to manage my own social interactions on the platform effectively.
Rather than outright banning users, the “Ignore” function lets you temporarily mute them instead. This helps to prevent an overflow of unwanted messages from a particular user, without necessarily deleting them from your friends list entirely.
This feature was meant for those wanting to put someone on hold without them actually knowing.
How to use the new Ignore feature in Discord
Using the new Ignore feature in Discord is quite simple. Here are the steps:
- Click on the three dots in the right-hand corner of the user you wish to Ignore.
- Click Ignore from the drop-down menu.
And there you have it. They are officially put on Ignore.
As a regular Discord user, I can’t wait to make use of this new feature that promises a safer gaming environment for all of us. It’s going to be a real sanctuary for daily users like me.
