Kanye West’s Racist Rant: Was It Just a Fashion Stunt?

Kanye West’s surprising multi-day social media rant was driven by a desperate yearning for publicity for his fashion brand. It’s been reported that at first, his partner Bianca Censori wasn’t aware of the controversy surrounding his actions.

As a devoted admirer, I found myself deeply disheartened when the influential figure in hip-hop, aged 47, sparked shock among followers by launching into a three-day tirade on social media platform X. This outburst was marked by a series of abhorrent comments that were anti-Semitic, sexist, and homophobic. To add to the controversy, he announced a new partnership between his Yeezy line and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ brand, Sean John.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his controversial tweets about fascism and racism, it’s widely recognized that Kanye is utilizing these actions to boost sales for his clothing line in collaboration with Sean Combs. A source revealed this to DailyMail.com, explaining that every time he takes such a step, his sales significantly increase.

The newly-arrived collection became available only a few days following West’s debut unveiling of YZY women’s clothing, with Censori modeling a see-through bodysuit that she wore after almost baring all on the Grammy Awards red carpet.

The source went on to say, ‘A few days back, nobody was talking about his wardrobe. Now, he’s set to earn millions from his tweets and issue an apology. His followers are known for their forgiving nature, so he’s banking on that.’

Last year, Diddy (formerly known as Combs) faced accusations and was subsequently arrested for allegedly participating in activities such as sex trafficking, racketeering, and facilitating prostitution.

During an interview on The Download with Justin Laboy, he expressed that having autism can feel like being in a situation similar to the movie “Rain Man”. When people suggest to him how he should create his album, he tends to go against their advice and do it differently instead.

It’s quite challenging for them due to the fact that he’s an adult who makes his own decisions. They don’t have access or authority over his bank account, and they can’t dictate what gets posted on his Twitter account.

Thirty-year-old Censori allegedly wasn’t aware that he was preparing to unleash his recent outburst, which followed a year after it was reported by DailyMail.com that he had been criticized for anti-Semitic remarks in his Vultures album.

According to the source, Bianca didn’t realize that it was happening, as they were informed that the action took place in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

In February, it’s said that an Australian architectural designer had conflicts with her husband due to her concerns that his actions could endanger them both and serve as a terrible role model for their kids.

An insider stated earlier that Bianca is growing weary of his behavior that appears self-centered and manipulative, recognizing that this is not his genuine character. However, her frustration with him is leading others to perceive her as prejudiced against Jews, which could not be further from the truth.

In December 2023, West publicly expressed remorse for his inappropriate actions, addressing his 19 million followers in Hebrew: ‘I sincerely apologize for any distress I might have inflicted.’

Prior to being shut down on Sunday evening, his recent posts were criticized by prominent religious organizations. The owner of X, Elon Musk, informed users: “Due to the nature of his posts, this account has been marked as ‘Not Safe for Work.’ You should no longer be exposed to such content.

In the span of three days, West made statements expressing admiration for Nazism, praising Adolf Hitler, and asserting that he would no longer trust or collaborate with Jews in the future.

Representative from the Jewish Leadership Council stated: “Kanye West’s recent outburst of antisemitic remarks isn’t just offensive, but it also presents a genuine threat to Jewish communities worldwide.

‘His posts on X will undoubtedly give inspiration and cover to antisemites.’ 

In his last message, he mentioned that he was feeling mentally well, then closed his account on Twitter: ‘I’m signing off from Twitter now. I want to express my gratitude to Elon for giving me the opportunity to express myself.’

‘It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board. It was like an Ayahuasca trip.’

He began his rant on Thursday by addressing Combs’ incarceration, tweeting: ‘FREE PUFF’. 

Thirty minutes passed, and he went back to the microblogging platform to criticize celebrities for ignoring Diddy, posting: ‘Many celebrities, both men and women, are cowards. They watch our brother suffer without saying a word.’

The well-known yet contentious artist additionally commented on allegations suggesting his spouse might be a target of manipulative domination, asserting that he holds authority over her, following her daring performance at the Grammys where she was seen almost fully unclothed.

In a series of offensive remarks targeting various minority groups, West declared that if he were to lose everything again, the current moment would be worth it and he could die afterwards, all the while asserting that he was under the influence of nothing but sobriety while posting on Twitter.

Instead of speaking further with individuals who held differing opinions from his own, he vowed to cut off all communication and resorted to using derogatory language targeting people who backed Kamala Harris.

Previously involved in distasteful, sexually-charged remarks regarding a former Vice President, he asserted that he would prevent or stop anyone daring to confront him.

He went on to say: ‘You people are controlled and have broken all your backs, riding Kamala’s dick for money. You all have plenty to say about my opinions, yet you’re just doing what they make you do.’

In his defense, he argued that the term “faggot” doesn’t mean homosexual; instead, it has always referred to someone who is a degenerate or immoral person, as written: ‘F*ERS DON’T EQUATE TO GAY; IT MEANS F*ING DEGENERATE LIKE IT ALWAYS MEANT YOU WERE A F***ING REPROBATE [sic].’

In response, West criticized the modern choice to feature plus-sized women as models in fashion events.

Expressing his opinion about the current fashion trends, he stated: “I’m tired of the politically correct movement pushing plus-sized models on the runway. It doesn’t resonate with most people.

Later, he launched a hateful speech filled with anti-Semitic remarks, following his earlier statement suggesting that the Jewish community dictates the narrative.

Instead of apologizing, he later stated on Twitter: “I will never apologize for my comments regarding Jews. I have the freedom to express whatever I want indefinitely.

‘WHERES MY F***ING APOLOGY FOR FREEZING MY ACCOUNTS SUCK MY D**K HOWS THAT FOR AN APOLOGY.’ 

He continued to assert, without evidence, that the Jewish community is behind the termination of black children’s lives. Written as: ‘PLEASE UNDERSTAND, IT IS NOT THE JEWISH COMMUNITY WHO CONTROL MY ACTIONS ANYMORE.’

This rephrased version aims to convey the same message while avoiding offensive and derogatory language.

‘This nation values freedom, and so does my perspective. It’s concerning that the practice of harvesting stem cells is associated with abortions, a topic I view as morally wrong. Regrettably, it appears that this controversial issue is being disproportionately targeted towards African-American and Latino communities.’

He urged anyone employed by him who holds differing opinions to resign, further stating that he would not collaborate with any individuals of Jewish descent in the future.

Or, more colloquially:

If you work for him but don’t share his views, he said to pack your bags. He also declared he wouldn’t partner up with anyone Jewish again.

In another twist, it appears that Kanye West has taken aim at his longstanding competitor, Taylor Swift, as well. This seems to be hinted in his actions, possibly referring to her dance performance to Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track “Not Like Us” during the Grammys earlier this month.

If we’re talking about culture, why are we allowing Taylor Swift to appear on TV singing a song that seems to depict the taking down of a Black man and accusing him of things that could potentially send a Black man to prison for life?

In a different wording, it could be expressed as: Lamar didn’t escape without consequences, much like West claimed about Kendrick Lamar, the Super Bowl Halftime headliner: ‘Kendrick is being exploited by these white people and Jews, and so am I.’

Before attacking Swift and Lamar, it seemed like he had made fun of the 2016 hotel security footage showing Combs’ violent altercation with Ventura, an incident that occurred earlier.

In this situation, he stated that when a man deeply loves a woman, he might display his affection through anger, and he sympathizes with both parties involved in the incident.

Later on, he posted a picture of a hoodie for sale on his Yeezy site, which looked exactly like the one she had on, and labeled it the ‘Hoodie of Love.’
