MAFS Star’s Whirlwind Flirtation with Drake: From Lunch Date to VIP Concert Seats!
On a recent Thursday evening, Carina Mirabile was seen dining with renowned rap artist Drake at an upscale eatery called Gibney in Perth.
Australian media outlet Daily Mail reports that a 31-year-old bride from Married At First Sight had dinner with her social media influential friends prior to capturing the interest of the renowned Hotline Bling artist. Impressed by the stylish gathering, he graciously covered their lunch expenses.
Later on, it was noticed that Carina and her companions were right up front at Drake’s fully booked performance, sparking rumors of a deepening bond between them.
Prior to attracting the notice of a global superstar, Carina enjoyed dinner with influential friends like designer Nilofar Khirzad, Chloe Carolina, and Natasha Del Bianco.
A source close to the scene shared with Daily Mail Australia that Drake and his group didn’t just observe the reality star and her companions, but they also graciously picked up their tab.
According to an onlooker, Carina and her friends were already having a wonderful time, drinking cocktails and feasting on seafood, but as Drake’s entourage joined them, the atmosphere in the room noticeably changed.
Bystanders noted that the rapper and his companions seemed fascinated and positioned themselves close by to take in the allure of the stylish troupe.
Carina and her companions were spotted at the bar later on, engaging enthusiastically with the well-known rapper and his close associates in lively conversation.
Following an engaging discussion, Carina and her companions exited the restaurant, with Drake making an appearance soon afterward.
It was evident that a strong connection existed between them. Throughout the interaction, Drake couldn’t tear his gaze away from her, as confirmed by the source.
The evening didn’t wrap up just then. Carina, along with her friends, could be seen at Drake’s show, managing to secure excellent spots close to the stage.
The bride from Married at First Sight and her companions certainly appeared to be high-profile individuals, relishing the show. Many spectators wondered if their evening with the renowned rap artist extended beyond his performance.
It comes amid reports Drake reportedly spent four hours wining and dining at the Perth hot spot.
At a high-end oceanfront bistro, it was said that he spent numerous hours seated at the bar, conversing with James Gentile, the bar manager, and savoring assorted regional seafood dishes and drinks.
Carina, who had previously captured attention on the Channel Nine dating program, left a lasting mark on spectators when she walked up the aisle with Paul Antoine.
Carina and Paul briefly dated prior to their MAFS appearance.
In conversation with Daily Mail Australia, after the surprising disclosure, Paul clarified the confusion about a supposed “ghosting” incident that took place approximately a year prior to their pairing on the show.
‘I don’t think I ghosted her – we just fizzled out,’ he insisted.
‘At first, we were texting a lot and trying to plan a second date, but life got busy.’
‘She was tied up on her side, I was busy on mine, and it just fizzled out,’ he continued.
‘Looking back, I probably should’ve communicated better and told her where I was at.’
At that point, Paul admitted he wasn’t emotionally prepared for a committed relationship.
He acknowledged that at the time, it wasn’t wise or appropriate for him to allow anyone close to him.
I might have suggested to her, “Let’s call it a day,” instead, but I didn’t. It’s likely that’s why she accused me of disappearing, or ‘ghosting’, as she put it.
Although Paul had vanished after their initial bond, Carina openly confessed that she was prepared to offer him a second opportunity.
She shared with Daily Mail Australia that she is understanding and grants forgiveness. Everyone encounters difficult periods, and she feels people merit opportunities for change. However, he has quite a bit of amends to make, she added.
A key instance where Paul managed to win forgiveness was when he bravely confronted their past during the wedding reception by speaking about it openly.
She shared that he directly approached her parents and disclosed everything – their prior encounter and his intention to apologize. Such courage impressed her greatly, she admitted.
