NAVI joins MPL ID season 15, acquires Rebellion Esports slot
Navi makes its comeback to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports by acquiring Rebellion Esports‘ spot in the Mobile Legend Pro League Indonesia Season 15.
In an exciting turn of events, one of Ukraine’s leading esports organizations, Natus Vincere (NAVI), is re-entering the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) world, but this time in a new region. Rather than sticking with their traditional choice, the CIS region, they have managed to secure a place in the upcoming Mobile Legends Professional League Indonesia (MPL ID) Season 15 by taking over Rebellion Esports’ franchise slot.
NAVI returns to MLBB esports scene as MPL ID Season 15 franchise team
The underperforming team Rebellion Esports from the MPL ID esports scene aims to bring an end to their struggling performances by merging with NAVI for the upcoming season. Notably, this Indonesian squad has consistently placed last since MPL ID Season 8.
The team roster retained some of its members while also introducing new additions:
- EXP Laner: Karsten “Karss” William
- Mid Laner: Muhammad Andika “xMagic” Ramadhan
- Gold Laner: Budi “Zeon” Liunardi
- Roamer: Rifaldo “HanafiTzy” Hanafi
- Jungler: Jason “Aether” Keane Zefanya
- Jungler: Muhammad Rakhaa “woshipaul” Sastradinata
- Coach: Ronaldo Aditya “Do” Lieberth (Also known as Aldo)
- Analyst: Raiden
As a dedicated fan, I’d like to share some exciting news about the shifting landscape of my favorite esports teams. Previously, Karss and Aether were part of the dynamic duo at Rebellion Esports. Meanwhile, NAVI has brought on board several talented players from different backgrounds. These include woshipaul, xMagic, Zeon, and HanafiTzy who were previously associated with Bigetron Beta, GeekFam ID Jr., Rebellion Blitz, and Kagendra respectively in their previous stints.
In terms of coaching, Aldo will be at the helm, serving as the head coach. He boasts an impressive resume, having guided teams such as ONIC ID, BIgetron Esports, and Alter Ego in previous competitions. Raiden will assist him in his role as analyst for NAVI’s roster during MPL ID Season 15.
Will NAVI finally commit to MLBB esports?
Previously, NAVI didn’t make their initial foray into the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports world without prior experience. In fact, as early as 2021, this gaming organization stepped onto the scene by purchasing the entire team of the Russian squad, Deus Vult, who had already earned a spot at the M3 World Championship. Yet, despite the lofty anticipations, the team couldn’t deliver on their potential, ending up in the 7th-8th position.
After completing their M3 tournament, NAVI put up a valiant final effort at the Murk Tournament, a European Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competition. Shortly after, they disbanded their team and fell off the radar. However, it appears that the organization is now gearing up for a substantial comeback.
By putting funds into MPL ID Season 15, an action that may indicate a long-term dedication from NAVI to the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang eSports community. Considering Indonesia’s prominence in MLBB eSports, this could present an optimal opportunity for NAVI to establish a sustained presence within the game.
