Pete Davidson Shows Off Tattoo Sleeve Removal Progress at Pre-Super Bowl Party

At a pre-Super Bowl gathering on Saturday, comedian Pete Davidson displayed his mostly ink-free biceps.

At Michael Rubin’s Fanatics party in New Orleans before Super Bowl LIX, the comedian, aged 31, opted for a sleeveless top, showing off the outcome of his tattoo removal process.

About four years ago, during his sobering-up period, he started a long and costly procedure to remove the tattoos on his arms.

After initiating the procedure, it’s said that Davidson shelled out more than two hundred thousand dollars for numerous laser tattoo removal treatments.

He intends to continue this trend, since he just disclosed his desire to have all tattoos removed by the time he turns 40, which is nine years from now.

At The Sugar Mill’s high-profile event on Saturday, the former Saturday Night Live cast member opted for a relaxed look wearing a light blue T-shirt featuring the logo of the Staten Island FerryHawks sports team.

He wore black-and-white basketball shorts paired with sneakers of the same color, along with subdued green knee-high socks.

In the movie Bodies Bodies Bodies, the actor sported a white hat resembling those from Café du Monde, as well as black sunglasses.

He carried a black backpack and also flashed a gold pendant necklace and watch. 

In the limelight at the red carpet event, I sipped on a refreshing beverage from an esteemed French Market coffee shop, while casually holding a cigar in my free hand.

At the bash, he posed for a photo alongside former basketball player Jalen Rose.

Previously associated with Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, and Madelyn Cline, as well as known for his role in The King of Staten Island, this individual is said to have boasted having more than 200 tattoos at one point.

On the latest edition of Late Night, which aired on Thursday, he discussed his tattoo removal journey while catching up with his friend and ex-castmate from Saturday Night Live, Seth Meyers.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m open about my personal journey – specifically, my plans to remove some of my tattoos. While I can’t predict exactly how long this process might take, my goal is to have it done within the next decade.

Davidson clarified to Meyers that he hadn’t anticipated the tattoos on his chest and back would disappear by the time he turned 40 when they discussed removing them.

Later on, Davidson explained that getting a tattoo requires numerous sessions spaced out over several weeks to allow for proper healing.

Davidson clarified that there will be at least seven sessions needed. If the design is in black and white, it simplifies things somewhat. However, if it’s a colored tattoo, it requires more time to complete.

When Meyers inquired if there was a specific tattoo that the comedian was happy to part ways with, he replied that he desired to eliminate all of them.

He confessed that many of his choices were made prior to his rehabilitation, including getting some rather foolish tattoos.

When inquired about his least favorite ones, Davidson responded by saying, “I have an assortment of cartoons puffing on a joint.

In his words, he mentioned that one of the Muppet characters, specifically the Tootsie Pop owl, was present. He found it peculiar since he hadn’t been born yet when the Tootsie Pop commercial featuring that character was aired.

As for the tattoos, it was stated last week that Davidson decided on a whim to get rid of them and the process has taken several years.

Davidson, who has remained sober since September and put on about twenty pounds, decided to get rid of his tattoos for a ‘fresh start,’ another source revealed.

As a dedicated follower of the actor’s career, I must say that things seem to be moving smoothly for him with his latest project, Dog Man.

1. Things are progressing positively, and he’s getting terrific feedback for the film.

2. The course of events appears to be on track, and he’s been garnering excellent responses for his movie.

3. Everything seems to be going smoothly, and the film is receiving outstanding compliments.

5. The situation looks promising, and the film has been getting rave reviews.

6. He’s heading in the right path, and the movie is being praised extensively.

On a Friday morning, Davidson discussed his painful tattoo removal journey during an interview on the Today show.

He labeled it as ‘quite bad’ and cautioned those considering tattooing themselves.

He advised that anyone contemplating a tattoo should be absolutely certain about their decision, since tattoos tend to fade over time, as he demonstrated by revealing the now barely visible ink on his arm.

2020 marked the start of the actor’s transition process, which he had earlier disclosed was inspired by his decision to become sober. This change motivated him to undergo a comprehensive transformation, extending to his physical appearance as well.

After achieving sobriety, when I looked at myself in the mirror, I felt distant, saying to myself, “No way, who is that?” I realized then that I needed to make some changes.
