Ali Wong and Bill Hader Steal the Show with Romantic Red Carpet Debut!

Ali Wong and Bill Hader seemed delightfully in sync as they strolled hand-in-hand, gracing the red carpet together for the first time as a romantic duo.

Ali, 42, is nominated for her first DGA Award for her Netflix special Ali Wong: Single Lady.

The DGA Awards red carpet is the couple’s public debut though they’ve been dating since April 2023.

In a translucent, beige-to-brown gradient dress without sleeves and boasting a ruffled trail, the actress from “The Beef” movie was absolutely stunning.

Her hair was styled with a side part, cascading freely in soft curls, while she donned her characteristic eyeglasses.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I find myself always dressed to impress, such as the time when I was 46 and stepped out in a sleek black tuxedo paired with a timeless bowtie. Accompanied by my partner, we shared laughter and light-hearted moments en route to an event, our spirits uplifted by each other’s company.

Ali has been put forward for the Distinguished Director Award by the Directors Guild of America in the Variety/Talk/News/Sports – Specials category, competing against directors whose work includes the Oscars, the Tonys, Tom Brady’s roast, and The Daily Show’s election night coverage.

Ali and Bill’s paths crossed for the first time in autumn 2022, following Ali’s separation from her former spouse Justin Hakuta and Bill’s split with actress Anna Kendrick, both aged 38 at that time.

Wong shares two daughters with Hakuta and filed for divorce in 2023.

In December 2022, Bill and Ali parted ways, but by April 2023, they had reignited their love affair. Since then, they have managed to keep their relationship discreet.

‘We’re very selectively private,’ Wong explained to Access Hollywood last year.

She said, “We’ve been dating for some time now, yet it seems that others weren’t aware of our relationship.

She mentioned that they are approximately forty years old and have children, describing the high-profile kiss Bill Hader (Barry’s star) gave her during the Golden Globe Awards after she won Best Actress for her performance in Beef.

It was reported by Us Weekly that at one point, sources revealed they had been acquainted for some time due to their connections in the comedy industry. Ali and Bill had previously known each other.

Initially, they were just friends with no romantic involvement, but when she found herself single, the notion of dating each other arose as an option.

‘They were both at a good place in their lives and decided to give it another shot.’

Previously, Hader was involved in a two-year relationship with his costar Noelle (and onscreen sister) Kendrick from the years 2020 to 2022. Following this, he dated his The To Do List co-star Rachel Bilson between 2019 and 2020.

Bill shares parenting responsibilities for his three daughters – Hannah (aged 14), Harper (aged 11), and Hayley (aged 9) – with television director Maggie Carey, who he parted ways with in 2018 following 11 years of matrimony.

Last year, after a 20-month legal process following their separation, and having been married for seven years, Ali and Justin Hakuta parted ways in a friendly manner through divorce.

In the movie “Always Be My Maybe,” the lead characters jointly raise two daughters – Mari, aged eight, and Nikki, aged six – with their Stealth Startup partner, who had a prenuptial agreement in place.

Ali and Justin remain best friends following their split.

Hader, like numerous other residents in Pacific Palisades, found his home impacted by the enormous Los Angeles fires; fortunately, his house remains unscathed.

In 2019, he purchased a house for approximately $4.2 million. Remarkably, despite many surrounding houses being destroyed, his property has miraculously withstood the damage.

Last month, Hader expressed to KTLA that he was stunned yet relieved his family made it to safety. He added that the community where they live is exceptional and he’s struggling to find words to express his feelings.

Hader told KTLA last month that he felt both shocked and relieved because his family had managed to escape. In fact, he thinks their neighborhood is amazing, and he’s having trouble finding the right words to describe how he feels about it all.

He also mentioned that the events unfolded incredibly quickly, leaving him quite bewildered at their speed. He can hardly believe how swiftly things transpire, and all he can do is hope that everyone remains secure.
