Born in bustling Manhattan, she spent her formative years on the west coast, having grown up in sunny Los Angeles. Later, she attended the prestigious Juilliard School for higher education.

In a 1980s detective show, she played her most iconic character opposite an actor who eventually became famous for playing James Bond.

The 68-year-old talented star was seen out and about in Los Angeles on Monday.

She bundled up in a red crewneck sweater over a white T-Shirt and a brown Carhartt vest.

She paired her ensemble with striped blue-and-white leggings, plus pastel pink Sketchers shoes.

Stephanie accessorized with a matching pink bag draped over her shoulders.

She let her chestnut and silver hair fall loose, accentuating her timeless beauty without any makeup.

The highly skilled actress is most recognized for her role, which saw her acting alongside Pierce Brosnan in the series ‘Remington Steele’.

In the show, she played the role of Laura Holt, a private detective who launched her own agency. The business flourished significantly when she invented a fictitious male superior, with growth accelerating even further upon the character Steele transitioning from fiction to reality.

From the fall of 1982 to mid-1987, I faithfully followed the captivating television series that graced NBC’s airwaves for a grand total of 94 enthralling episodes.

In the movies GoldenEye (1995), Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The World Is Not Enough (1999), and Die Another Day (2002), her fellow actor Brosnan played James Bond in a total of four films.

It’s clear that musical prowess is deeply rooted in her lineage, as her father’s grandfather, Efrem Zimbalist, was a renowned symphony conductor, violinist, and teacher at the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia, and her father’s grandmother, Alma Gluck, was a distinguished soprano of her era.

Stephanie’s acting career commenced in the late 1970s, featuring appearances in films like “The Gathering” (1977, alongside Edward Asner), “In the Matter of Karen Ann Quinlan” (1977), “Forever” (1978), “The Magic of Lassie” (1978), a TV series titled “Long Journey Back” (1978), and “The Triangle Factory Fire Scandal” (1979).

In the year 1980, she acted alongside Charlton Heston in “The Awakening.” Later in the same year, she also appeared in “The Golden Moment” and “The Babysitter.

In 1979, she was a prominent figure on the stage when she played Miranda in John Hirsch’s version of The Tempest, sharing the stage with Anthony Hopkins, Brent Carver, and Michael Bond at the Mark Taper Forum in LA.

Her most recent role was starring as Pastor Mimi in the  family film Lucky Louie.
