Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Grab Chick-fil-A After Court Drama Amid Assault Trial

Rihanna and her partner A$AP Rocky were famished after a chaotic day in court on Friday.

36-year-old musicians, a vocalist and a rapper, exited the Los Angeles courthouse, as that’s where Rapper Rocky was standing trial.

As a diehard fan, I couldn’t help but follow that adored pair in their vehicle, an SUV to be precise. Later on, they pulled up at a Chick-fil-A drive-thru, placing their orders from the backseat. It seemed like Rocky, my favorite, was casually puffing away on something that looked suspiciously like a joint. Quite a sight!

He’s faces two felony charges of assault with a firearm for allegedly shooting a friend in 2021.

Rihanna left the courthouse looking professional and stylish alongside her partner, the father of their 2-year-old son RZA and 18-month-old Riot.

She wore an oversize medium-gray suit with peaked lapels and long, flowing pants.

The arrangement of buttons on the suit suggested that it might have been designed for a man, following the standard placement of buttons in traditional male suits.

Underneath her jacket, she donned a straightforward white top, while a scarf with hues of brown and yellow was casually knotted around her neck.

The vocalist from Work adorned herself with an elegant ensemble and a sparkling pair of black split-toed shoes. Her raven hair was neatly gathered into a bun with a side parting.

She kept her arm locked with Rocky’s as they strutted out of the courthouse.

He wore a less formal attire, donning a hoodie-style black leather jacket paired with a black-and-white striped dress shirt and a black tie featuring diagonal red-and-white stripes of different widths.

In a more subdued style befitting a defendant, Rocky (also known as Rakim Mayers) finished off his court attire with plain black slacks and sleek black leather footwear.

Later on, they were seen requesting for chicken from inside their SUV, with their partially opened, dark-tinted window.

At the drive-through, Rocky was noticed sporting a smile towards the attendant while placing their order, and it appeared as if the musician was taking a drag from what seemed to be a cigarette of some sort.

Previously, Rocky was spotted individually approaching the courthouse while wearing the identical attire, coupled with a black fur-trimmed hat featuring its ear flaps folded over.

Earlier in the day, he stirred up a fuss by abruptly interrupting his trial to prevent a witness from responding to a question with an unexpected action.

During the trial, A$AP Twelvyy – a comrade in A$AP Mob alongside him – was questioned by prosecutors while a picture of Rocky’s bedroom was displayed, as reported by TMZ.

Twelvyy was asked to explain what ‘AWGE,’ which was printed on the bedding, stood for.

Before he could respond, Rocky shouted, ‘Don’t say!’

His abrupt comment severely violated the etiquette and court regulations, stirring up quite a lot of chaos among the spectators and legal parties involved.

His trick seemed effective since Twelvyy responded with “It means AWGE” whenever questioned about the acronym’s meaning.

The prosecution found the explanation unconvincing, so they requested the judge to make the rapper provide a more comprehensive response.

As a devoted follower of events, I found myself in a position where Joe Tacopina, Rocky’s high-profile lawyer, attempted to deescalate the situation by requesting a private consultation with the judge.

Nevertheless, it was the result that the defendant seemingly aimed for, since Twelvyy did not disclose the genuine significance of ‘AWGE.’

It’s well-known that Rocky established the creative agency AWGE back in 2014 – this isn’t exactly a secret he was trying to keep hidden.

On the “About” page for Rocky’s AWGE agency, there are listed two seemingly playful guidelines that challenge those attempting to decipher the significance of its moniker.

Rule number one advises against disclosing the meaning of AWGE, whereas rule number two suggests that if you’re uncertain, always revert to rule number 1.

During the break in the questioning, Rihanna made her grand entrance into the courtroom. 

Initially, she remained silent as she entered, yet once inside the courthouse, she warmly embraced her beloved Rocky before they both re-entered the courtroom to continue proceedings.
