He adorned himself with a designer timepiece and sported a beaded bracelet displaying the colors of Palestine on his right wrist.

Guy earned his very first Oscar nomination the day following the confirmation of his split with partner Carice van Houten.

On Wednesday, the actress from Game of Thrones shared the news via her Instagram, mentioning that she and her partner have not been together for quite some time now.

Currently, the actor who was once known for his role on Neighbours has received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor, recognizing his exceptional performance in The Brutalist.

In the post-World War II drama, Pearce acts alongside Adrien Brody; remarkably, Adrien was even nominated for Best Actor.

The recognition at the Oscars extends a streak of nominations for Pearce, which also includes the Golden Globes and BAFTAs.

He’s competing for the prestigious statue alongside Keiran Culkin (A Real Pain) and Edward Norton (A Mystery Man).

The category is completed by Yura Borisov, who played in Anora, and Jeremy Strong, who was featured in The Apprentice.

This year, Brutalist elements have made a significant impact, receiving no less than ten nominations. Among them are nods for Felicity Jones in the Best Supporting Actress category and Brady Corbet for Best Director.

It tells the story of an architect (Brody) escaping post-war Europe to rebuild his life in America.

A man portrays a significant, made-up magnate named Harrison Lee Van Buren, who recognizes an architect’s skills and supports his professional journey – alas, with unfortunate consequences.

For the first time, Pearce, who’s known for his roles in films like Memento and L.A Confidential that received critical praise from Hollywood, has earned an Academy nod.

His nomination comes just a day after his split with partner Carice van Houten was confirmed.

The Dutch actress announced on her Instagram that she and her partner have been separated for quite some time now.

The couple share one son, Monte, nine.

She rarely talks about her private matters, but since there have been several speculations in the media lately about her relationship with Guy, she felt it was important to clarify some things first.

In a conversation with The Guardian, he shared that his former spouse, Kate, held the title of my most treasured lover, but I’ve since found new happiness and my deepest affection is now directed towards my son, Monte.

2018 marked a turning point for me when my idol, Guy, openly shared about his battle with darkness following his separation from his wife Kate, after 18 long years together. Initially, when I embarked on my acting journey, I found it effortless to shed tears as required. However, following 15 years of therapy, I transformed into a more composed and content individual. Strangely enough, attempting to cry during a scene now seems unattainable for me.

This same year, Guy likewise acknowledged to Who Magazine that becoming a father in his 50s presents its own set of difficulties.

At the age of 53, raising a young child presents quite a challenge, but my main focus is to cherish every moment I have with him and strive to be the very best father that I can. This is what I shared as a star born in Melbourne.
