Overwatch Moth Meta patch speeds up Mercy rez and hints at Doomfist update

Overwatch Classic Moth Meta patch notes
On February 6th, Blizzard released an update (hotfix) for the classic Overwatch game mode, Moth Meta. This update primarily focused on Mercy’s abilities: it revised her Resurrect ability and her Guardian Angel ability during Valkyrie ultimate usage.
- Guardian Angel: Now has increased speed and range during Valkyrie.
- Resurrect: Now has improved cast time.
As stated by the creators, these changes aim to rejuvenate the support hero’s character to better reflect her initial essence from the year 2017.
Overwatch players wants to remove DPS Doomfist
Furthermore, Blizzard has indicated that they will be making changes to Doomfist in the upcoming patch, as detailed in their most recent patch notes.
As a gamer, I’ve noticed some Overwatch Classic players aren’t too thrilled about the DPS character, Doomfist. On Reddit, for instance, one player likened facing him to playing Dead by Daylight. Similarly, on another platform (X), another player put it bluntly: “If we were to remove Doomfist, I think we’d be having a different conversation.
On platform X, there’s an anonymous Overwatch user who expressed relief that the Damage hero Doomfist won’t be featured in Overwatch 2.
