The popular game, Clash of Clans, is introducing the Snake Festival Event as part of their Lunar New Year celebration in February 2025. This means we’ll see a new Hero Equipment, event-themed troops, and various rewards among other exciting things. Clash of Clans Snake Festival Event: Every detail explained

Overview

The Snake Festival begins on February 7, 2025, and continues throughout the entire month! During multiplayer battles, you’ll find Red Lanterns to collect. Swap these lanterns for Snake Medals at the Trader Shop. When you initiate the event, you’ll be given 100 Red Lanterns as a starting bonus. By buying the event pass, you’ll receive an additional 1,000 medal boost!

Event Troops

During this event, you’ll receive two unique troops themed around specific subjects. One is called the Snake Barrel, which can be acquired from Town Hall 6 and up to Town Hall 17. This troop primarily focuses on attacking defenses. Once destroyed, it unleashes a horde of snakes that inflict significant damage but have relatively low health. This makes them vulnerable to splash damage.

The Firecracker is coming back for this year’s Lunar New Year celebration, and it’s equipped with the ability to explode in a line, damaging multiple targets like a Scattershot. It performs optimally when positioned behind sturdy characters such as Root Riders, Yetis, or Giants, providing protection while dishing out damage.

Event Track

In three buildings chosen at random during an attack, Red Lanterns appear. You can collect them more swiftly by using spells such as Lightning, Fireball, or Giant Arrow. If you’re a member of the Legends League, you’ll receive a small advantage. Once you’ve amassed 2,500 Red Lanterns, you’ll unlock a 30% training enhancement that can be combined with the Gold Pass benefit.

To finish the event trail, you’ll require 16,000 Red Lanterns that will grant you a free Snake Shrine challenge. If you want more prizes, you can venture onto an extra trail, demanding 21,000 Red Lanterns to secure an additional 650 Snake Medals. If you’re playing for free, you can win up to 3,750 Snake Medals. However, if you buy the event pass, you’ll receive an extra 5,500 medals.

Event Rewards

At the Trader’s Store, you’ll find both old and fresh gear items, including the latest addition – the Snake Bracelet. This accessory is particularly beneficial for the Barbarian King as it activates a passive skill that summons snakes when he takes damage, making it quite potent. Furthermore, acquiring the event pass grants you an extra 600 Glowy Ore and 80 Star Ore, resources that prove useful in enhancing your equipment.
