This week’s notable occurrence was the popular yearly gathering known as the Merivale staff party, where the attractive and youthful employees from Justin Hemmes’ hospitality conglomerate enjoyed themselves immensely, while their wealthy patron footed a substantial bill for the drinks.

Earlier events were often characterized as wild dance parties, where bar staff with chiseled male features akin to models and scantily dressed attendants serving bottles were temporarily elevated to stardom for the evening.

However, similar company shindigs have also been at the centre of controversy.

2017’s ‘Merivales’ event showcased a video highlighting two patron incidents, recorded by security cameras, who were found engaging in intimate activities inside an elevator.

Last year, the video emerged during a period when Merivale’s supposedly lenient work environment was under intense media examination.

After resolving the past public relations turbulence, it’s now my turn to share that, in contrast to prior years, this year’s staff gathering turned out to be rather less exciting than usual.

Although she didn’t explicitly state her desire for a wealthy husband, some of her requirements subtly hinted at it.

She mentioned that she likes dining at elegant eateries, puts forth a lot of effort in her work, always travels in business class, and would feel comfortable standing beside her at an event without any sense of being overawed.

Interestingly enough, it so happened that only a month after compiling the list, Fahey encountered Sukkar at a New Year’s Day gathering. Sukkar, being a scion of one Sydney’s affluent families and leading a $500 million construction company, certainly checked off many of her requirements.

As a devoted admirer, I found myself proposing my love’s hand on the enchanting Greek island of Tinos, a moment immortalized by time itself. Subsequently, we orchestrated an extravagant matrimonial ceremony so exquisite that it graced the hallowed pages of Vogue.

And we can now reveal the newly minted Mrs Sukkar is sharing the love.

Although everyone has accidentally exceeded 40 kilometers per hour at some point, the behavior of this particular driver was notably bold and reckless, prompting some witnesses to alert the authorities.
