Featured Pokémon: Karrablast and Shelmet
At the given time, you’ll encounter Karrablast and Shelmet more often in their natural habitats. Additionally, your chances of capturing a Shiny version of these creatures will be boosted.
There will also be a featured move for evolving both of the featured Pokémon.
During the Pokemon GO Community Day, any Karrablast that evolves will acquire Razor Shell, a water-based attack. However, if you’ve already got an Escavalier, the sole method for them to learn this move is by using an Elite Technical Machine (Elite TM).
During the recent Pokemon GO Community Day event, any Shelmet that evolved into Accelgor picked up the ability to use Energy Ball, a grass-typed attack. If you’ve already got an Accelgor, it’s only possible for them to learn this move through an Elite Technical Machine (TM).
After the Community Day of Karrablast and Shelmet in Pokémon GO, you will have access to these special moves. By evolving either of these Pokémons before February 16th at 10:00 PM local time, you can obtain the highlighted move as a reward.

During this occasion, it’s crucial to maintain a singular focus. Catch, catch, and catch as many Pokémon as possible. One point to keep in mind is that if you have a Pokémon at Mega Level 3, it will increase the amount of candy and XP you get from catching Karrablast and Shelmet. Since they belong to the same type, the same Mega Pokémon will enhance the rewards for both.
These are the Pokémon capable of undergoing Mega Evolution, rewarding bonus Candy, Candy XL, and XP upon capturing Karrablast and Shelmet.
