In the latest season of Clash of Clans, the Lunar New Year festivities are part of the weekly events and challenges. One such event is called “Snake it Back Challenge,” where conquering each base offers a fun twist. Here’s what you should know to beat this challenge in Clash of Clans.
Introducing the Snake it Back Challenge in Clash of Clans
In the popular game Clash of Clans, the Snake It Back challenge has a connection with the Lunar New Year festivities marking the Year of the Snake. This is the initial challenge for this month, and although the base appears straightforward to conquer, it’s essential to pay attention to the provided army as that’s where the real challenge lies.
In future contests, your team is expected to carry on with their standard strategy, as there’s no indication that things will change in the near future. The creators have shown a lack of innovation so far. You’ll earn 400 XP, 25 Gems, and one Resource Potion as your rewards.
In this version, I’ve aimed to make the text more conversational and less formal, while still maintaining clarity and accuracy.
How to beat the Snake it Back Challenge in Clash of Clans
At the onset of the assault, do you spot the hooded statue situated to the left of the central structure, often referred to as Scattershot? Yes, this statue acts as a hint for troop positioning. To initiate, station one Snake Barrel Troop on the opposite side of the Scattershot to reduce initial damage. Await the moment when the Scattershot’s health drops to 50%, then strategically place a Barrel on each of the Huts at the base’s bottom.
Afterward, arrange three Firecrackers evenly in front of your Dark Elixir Storage, with one on the central Bomb Tower and the rest positioned close to the other storages. Proceeding to the top of your base, release a Wall Breaker first, followed by a Barrel Troop to divert the defenses’ attention. Finally, dispatch the Barbarian King to charge through the defenses in that region.
Once you’ve swept the left side clean, aim your last two Barrel Troops at the Monoliths. Then, send in three Headhunters. Allow the battle to progress as the central part of the base is destroyed. Your Barbarian King will keep attacking from the top, while your Snakes move towards the Multi-Inferno Tower.
For optimal results, cast a “Healing Potion” when the Snakes get to the zone shared by Multi-Inferno and X-Bows. As they advance, employ a “Rage Potion” to breach the final line of defense. While the Barbarian King’s abilities aren’t essential for this offensive, you can summon him if his active skills prove beneficial.
The Snakes are going to systematically clear out the remaining structures, which includes the Troll Tesla located at the 3 o’clock spot. By following this plan, you’ll find it quite straightforward to earn a three-star victory in the Snake It Back challenge.
