Mark Ruffalo joins Oscar-winning cast in new movie
Actor Mark Ruffalo is set to appear in the upcoming film directed by Martin McDonagh, who also helmed “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” and “The Banshees of Inisherin.
According to Deadline, the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Poor Things actor has teamed up with Oscar winners John Malkovich and Sam Rockwell (who has previously worked with Martin McDonagh three times) for a new project titled Wild Horse Nine.
It’s been independently confirmed by Variety that Parker Posey, who is set to appear in ‘The White Lotus’ season 3, has also been added to the show’s ensemble cast.
Previously, Christopher Walken and Oscar Isaac had been associated with this project, yet recent reports suggest they are no longer participating in it.
Regarding the storyline, it remains a secret for the time being, however, production is scheduled to begin in March on Rapa Nui, or Easter Island as it’s more commonly known.
The island resembles its 19th-century appearance remarkably well, given that it’s a preserved natural reserve. At present, we can’t yet predict how this setting will influence the movie plot.
In the near future, Ruffalo is set to appear in “Mickey 17,” the latest film directed by Bong Joon-ho, who has previously worked on projects like “Parasite” and “Snowpiercer.
In a nutshell, the movie features Robert Pattinson portraying a disposable clone worker who’s been genetically engineered for hazardous tasks. Each time he perishes, a new body is created for him. However, when one of these clones manages to survive and crosses paths with his current self, it sets off a chain reaction of events that lead to an identity crisis.
Additionally, they must confront a colonel commander portrayed by Ruffalo, who seeks their demise.
* The film Wild Horse Nine doesn’t have a set release date or venue yet.
* However, Mickey 17 is scheduled to hit cinemas on March 7th.
* Additionally, the third season of The White Lotus premieres in the United States on February 16th on HBO and Max, and the following day it will be available on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
