Scarlett Johansson Looks Just Like Florence Pugh in Jurassic World Rebirth Trailer!
Viewers were taken aback by Scarlett Johansson’s appearance in the initial teaser of Jurassic World: Rebirth.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but notice the striking resemblance between the 40-year-old actress and none other than Florence Pugh. It’s almost as if they’re two sides of the same coin!
The similarities are obvious as both have almond eyes and strong jawlines.
As Scarlett played the character Zora Bennett, she pulled her hair back neatly and donned clothing that resembled military uniform, complete with an olive green tank top and a hefty backpack. She carried a potent firearm.
One fan wondered, “Is that Florence or Scarlett?” while another replied, “It used to be FloPu, but it seems like it’s Scarlett now!
Maia Pugh is a well-recognized English actress, particularly for her performances in The Falling (released in 2014), Midsommar (from 2019), Black Widow (co-starring with Scarlett in 2021), and Don’t Worry Darling (2022).

The preview begins with the two-time Oscar nominee meeting with Bailey, who is a paleontologist.
They discuss their intentions to initiate a covert operation, the successful completion of which is expected to lead to a groundbreaking medical discovery capable of potentially saving numerous lives.
A friend clarifies to Bailey that the required materials originate from the biggest dinosaur species found on Earth.
He mentioned that it’s fortunate for us that all these species are found in a single, secluded location. Is it possible for you to prepare everything by tomorrow?
As Johansson notices Bailey’s uncertainty, he assures him: ‘I can almost promise your security.’
‘More or less?’ he fires back, before footage pans to them embarking on their dangerous voyage.
Speaking about her team, Johansson assertively states that they are exceptionally skilled at navigating items and individuals through areas where they don’t usually belong.
After becoming part of the duo, Mahershala Ali discusses evading government checkpoints, then mentions that there isn’t much left in the area now.
When Bailey asks him why not, Ali laughed and said: ‘No one’s dumb enough to go where we’re going.’
‘This island was the research facility for the original Jurassic Park,’ Johansson explains.
Later, it’s unveiled that the dinosaurs residing on this island were considered “too hazardous” or “too dangerous” for the initial park.
On their adventure, they encounter a physically demanding task such as descending a towering mountain using ropes (rappelling), and they come across dinosaurs, specifically raptors, in the process.
By the end of the trailer, Bailey predicts ‘survival is a long shot.’

The recently released sci-fi action movie, following Jurassic World Dominion (2022), is the seventh installment of the Jurassic Park series, featuring an entirely fresh group of actors headed by Johansson.
In addition to Johansson, Friend, Ali, and Bailey, the group is also joined by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain, and Ed Skrein in the cast.
According to a recent announcement, the main idea behind the story unfolds five years after Jurassic World Dominion: A team embarks on a daring journey into remote equatorial territories to gather DNA samples from three enormous ancient beasts, aiming for a revolutionary advancement in medical science.
According to Universal Pictures, as a specialist in undercover missions, Johansson’s character is hired to direct a highly capable squad for a classified operation involving the retrieval of valuable genetic samples from the largest dinosaurs on Earth.

When Zora’s surgery coincides with a civilian group whose boat trip is overturned by prehistoric sea creatures, they all end up stranded on an island. There, they uncover a chilling secret that has been concealed from humanity for many years.
In this scenario, Gareth Edwards is taking on the directorial role, using a script penned by David Koepp. Notably, Koepp was a co-writer for the initial two Jurassic Park films released in 1993 and 1997.
In June, Johansson shared with ComicBook.com her excitement about the “incredible” script, particularly praising David Koepp for his writing skills.
30 years later, he came back to pen the script, showing his deep enthusiasm for the project – truly amazing, she exclaimed.

As a dedicated enthusiast who’s deeply immersed in the universe of this beloved franchise, it’s hard to express my excitement. I feel like I’m walking on air, barely containing my sheer joy. For more than a decade, I’ve been eagerly seeking opportunities to become part of this captivating world.
Once again, Steven Spielberg assumes the role of executive producer for this collaborative production, a venture that brings together Amblin Entertainment and Universal.
Filming started around mid-June in Thailand, lasting roughly a month, before shifting to Kalkara, an island nation in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Southern Europe, where filming continued for approximately another month.
Following this, the filming progressed to Sky Studios Elstree, located in London, England, in August, where additional rounds took place. In late September, it was off to New York City for the recent sequences that are now being captured on camera.
Jurassic World Rebirth is scheduled to hit theaters in the U.S. on July 2, 2025.
