EA Reveals a Release Window for the Next Battlefield

Electronic Arts (EA) has unveiled the estimated launch period for their upcoming Battlefield title, with a range between April 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026.

Regardless of the shape that the next “Battlefield” game might assume, it’s a significant development. The previous release, “Battlefield 2042”, didn’t receive a warm welcome. Electronic Arts (EA) even unveiled some pre-alpha footage of the upcoming game, which you can view in the video below.

As stated on the company’s website, “This is a unique phase for Battlefield. Initially, we will focus on evaluating the foundational aspects of gameplay, such as core combat and destruction. Subsequently, we will adjust balance and feedback for weapons, vehicles, and gadgets. Eventually, our aim is to integrate all these elements seamlessly in our maps, modes, and multiplayer team play.

Meanwhile, in updates concerning the Battlefield franchise, it’s been revealed that Criterion is currently involved. However, this doesn’t necessarily imply that their work on the Need for Speed series has completely ceased.
