Line Of Duty stars Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure and Martin Compston send fans into meltdown as they reunite for a pint at the pub

Fans were thrilled when Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure, and Martin Compston – the stars of Line Of Duty – got together for a drink at a pub.

On Sunday, the three friends had a fun night out before they start filming again in the spring.

Martin, 41, smiled alongside Vicky, 42, and Adrian, 67, as they raised their beers for the photo.

He captioned the update: ‘AC12 in the house (pub).’

Fan’s of the show were delighted at the reunion snap as they get ready for the seventh series.

They expressed their joy, saying it was wonderful to see everyone together and sending affectionate greetings.

I was so excited when I saw this picture – it felt like we’d all been waiting forever! It definitely got everyone hyped and ready to get filming on the new season, like, let’s finish up and go!

‘I think I would hyperventilate if I was in that pub right now!’; ‘Best show ever!!!.’

Martin, Vicky, and Adrian are getting together before starting filming on the new season of Line of Duty, which is scheduled to begin in the spring.

Last week, Vicky had her friend and colleague Adrian over at her house in Nottingham. They watched the Nottingham Forest versus Arsenal game together, along with their “Trigger Point” co-star, Eric Shango.

The actress also posted a photo of herself with friends outside Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem, a pub known as the oldest in England.

Adrian enjoyed a pint with Vicky and her husband, Welsh director Jonny Owen at the pub.

‘Had the best few days in Notts with the best of friends ♥️’ Vicky sweetly captioned the photos.

The final episode of Jed Mercurio’s popular thriller aired in 2021 and attracted a record-breaking 17 million viewers within 28 days, making it the most-watched drama episode since records began in 2002.

However, viewers were unhappy with how the sixth series ended. The reveal that the clumsy Detective Superintendent Ian Buckells (Nigel Boyle) was actually ‘H’ – the hidden figure responsible for the police corruption – proved to be controversial.

Hoping to win back fans the new six-part series will start filming in Belfast in the coming spring.

AC-12 has been shut down and replaced with a new unit called the Inspectorate of Police Standards, but Martin, Vicky, and Adrian are all back on the job.

Oh my god, you guys, things are so intense for AC-12 right now! It’s like, the corruption is worse than ever, and they’ve just been given this absolutely HUGE case – the most sensitive one they’ve ever handled! I’m seriously on the edge of my seat watching Steve Arnott, Kate Fleming, and, of course, Ted Hastings try to untangle everything. It’s going to be insane!

Detective Inspector Dominic Gough, known for successfully dismantling organized crime groups, is now facing accusations of using his authority to sexually exploit others.

But is Gough’s case a deliberate distraction from a bigger threat still operating in the shadows?

I was so excited to hear Martin talking on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show about the new series! He explained that after last year, they realized they needed to simplify things and focus all their energy on making this next one amazing. They basically decided to start fresh and give it everything they’ve got.

We talk pretty often – almost every other day, or at least every couple of weeks. We’ve become really good friends. As soon as I arrived the other night, Jed took me out for curry.

We realized time was running out. We’re not getting any younger, and we felt like if we were going to do it, now was the time – otherwise, the opportunity might never come again.

If you wait too long between projects, it becomes difficult. Giving Jed time to develop a good storyline is great, and some distance helps with that…

He added of the script: ‘I mean, it’s fantastic… already it’s a proper page turner.

It’s important to build something strong from the ground up, rather than just quickly putting it together. However, the writing is fantastic, and everyone is really looking forward to starting work again.

The series finale drew an impressive 16 million viewers, making it the most-watched drama in the country since 2018.
