Clash Royale Lumberjack Evolution best decks guide

In the popular game Clash Royale, the recent addition of Card Upgrades has added an extra layer of complexity to the battles, making them more challenging for both players and opponents. With numerous upgrades already available in the game, selecting the ideal two can prove quite a conundrum. One of the latest introductions is the enhanced Lumberjack, and let’s delve into the most effective decks incorporating this new upgrade for various Events and Challenges within Clash Royale.

Best Lumberjack Evolution decks to use in Clash Royale

In February 2025, during Season 68 of Clash Royale dubbed ‘Lumber Love’, an update introduced the evolution of the Lumberjack. When this evolved Lumberjack is defeated, it triggers its Rage Ghost ability, continuing to fight as long as it’s within a Rage effect. Unlike the Royal Ghost, this spectral combatant remains unseen while attacking and cannot be targeted by spells; however, it can still be moved or distracted.

He has completed one round of development. Brainstorming on how to maximize this talent, allow me to present my preferred deck choices for the game.

1. Lumberjack, Balloon, Inferno Dragon, Electro Dragon, Bowler, Freeze, Snowball, Barbarian Barrel

Average Elixir Cost: 4.0

In this deck, known as the Lumberloon deck, it was already potent during late-game strategies. However, with the addition of Lumberjack Evolution, it becomes even more unpredictable. The Balloon remains the primary winning condition, aiding in tower destruction when empowered by Rage and bolstered by Freeze.

Now, the Freeze spell takes on added significance as it allows you to capitalize on the win condition in this scenario. The Electro Dragon immobilizes swarms and slows down enemy advances. I employed Inferno for this instance, but you may also choose Baby Dragon if that fits your strategy better. Bowler offers robust ground control, while Snowball and Barbarian Barrel aid in cycling and defense. Duplicate this deck below.

2. Lumberjack, Fireball, Giant Skeleton, Baby Dragon, Firecracker, Bats, Clone, Zap

Average Elixir Cost: 3.5

This Lumberjack clone deck, being utter mayhem, consistently takes opponents by surprise. Combining it with a Giant Skeleton is lethal since cloning results in double the explosive power, swiftly obliterating defenses. Meanwhile, Baby Dragon and Firecracker effectively deal with hordes of enemies and gradually wear down troops attempting to halt your offensive.

Bats serve well for cycling and warding off aerial dangers, while Fireball and Zap take care of anything attempting to disrupt the offensive. The secret lies in timing the deployment of Clone precisely as the Lumberjack tumbles, ensuring a simultaneous Rage enhancement for all units. Here’s the deck layout if you wish to copy it.

3. Lumberjack, Lava Hound, Baby Dragon, Mega Minion, Flying Machine, Tombstone, Poison, Barbarian Barrel

Average Elixir Cost: 3.9

This deck, modeled after the LavaLoon strategy, adopts a more defensive playstyle by substituting Balloons for control elements. However, it retains the Lumberjack as a significant menace. The aim is to construct a formidable Lava Hound offensive, bolster it with Rage, and then unleash the enhanced Lumberjack for chaos.

This Lava Hound serves as our primary tank, absorbing damage and producing Lava Pups for additional harm. The Baby Dragon, Flying Machine, and Mega Minion offer robust air assistance. On the ground, Tombstone hinders enemy tanks and aids in defense, while Poison is utilized to clear out swarms and support units. Here’s the deck configuration:

1. Lava Hound
2. Baby Dragon
3. Flying Machine
4. Mega Minion
5. Tombstone
6. Poison
7. Zap
8. Fireball or Rocket (depending on personal preference)
9. Ice Spirit or Spear Goblin (for cycling and support)

Adjust the numbers of cards as needed, but ensure you have at least 3 of each primary card (Lava Hound, Baby Dragon, Flying Machine, Mega Minion, Poison, and Tombstone). The remaining cards can be filled with Zap, Fireball or Rocket, Ice Spirit, or Spear Goblin to suit your playstyle.
