`Olivia Attwood’s Shocking Wedding Day Confessions`

On her wedding day, Olivia Attwood shared that she visited the gym at 5 a.m., expressing the intense stress she felt about looking her absolute best during the ceremony.

On Monday, the television figure aged 33 made an appearance on the Newlyweds podcast hosted by Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing, accompanied by her partner Bradley Dack.

In an open and heartfelt discussion, Olivia and Sophie confessed that they deeply disliked their wedding days and considered the events extremely distressing.

In June of 2023, Olivia married Bradley, a 29-year-old footballer, at the lavish five-star Bulgari hotel in Knightsbridge. Sophie and her partner, Jamie, exchanged vows a month earlier in May.

Previously known “Made In Chelsea” cast members exchanged vows first at the Chelsea Registry Office among their cherished ones, followed by a lavish wedding ceremony several weeks afterwards.

Reflecting on our special moments, Brad turned to Olivia and asked, ‘Weren’t those our wedding days something you truly cherished?’

With a laugh, she responded, “Actually, not funny at all. It was traumatic for me,” and Sophie quickly chimed in, “Whoa, really? I felt the same way; I despised every moment of it.

‘I felt like I was literally, like my lungs were closing in on me every day,’ agreed Olivia.

Sophie responded: “Yes, me as well! I was breathless, feeling quite frantic. If another person asks, ‘How’s the wedding planning?’ one more time, I might just give them a playful swat.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I find that I thrive best when I’m not the center of attention all the time. Moreover, I strongly dislike having one single aspect define who I am, such as being labeled solely as “the bride.” It was an overwhelming experience for me.

Olivia quickly agreed: ‘I resisted that, yeah. You just feel suffocated, don’t you?’

Regardless of the surprised responses from the bride, it was acknowledged by Jamie and Bradley that they both loved and appreciated their wedding days.

Meanwhile, Olivia contended that it’s a unique circumstance for the bride, Sophie shared insights about the stress of having to appear flawless.

She admitted: ‘You’re supposed to look the best you’ve ever f****** looked. That sent me under.’

Later on, Olivia awkwardly disclosed, ‘It’s quite unfortunate. On my wedding day, I was in the Bulgari hotel gym at five in the morning, working out to tone my glutes. That’s what being a modern-day bride entails for me.’

Sophie commented: ‘Exhaustion from pumping myself up made me feel as if I had to walk down the aisle while drinking ten cups of coffee.’

Olivia chuckled, sounding as if she was a trembling pooch. The noise of her bones creaking was audible. Eating only pureed meals due to my current state, it’s just miserable, truly awful.”

This version preserves the original meaning and tone while using more everyday language that is easier for readers to understand.

At the Bulgari Hotel, a venue never before used for a wedding, Olivia and Bradley’s nuptials took place. This extraordinary event was decorated by Red Floral Architecture with an astonishing 10,000 roses and more than 25,000 individual flowers, transforming the location into a breathtakingly romantic setting where Olivia and Bradley would meet at the end of the aisle.

In my own words as a lifestyle expert, I’d say: With my 80 beloved friends and family members cheering me on, I felt a profound sense of joy, especially with my proud father, Kai, standing by my side. On this special day, I had the privilege of donning not one, but two breathtaking outfits, designed by the talented Galia Lahav. The first was a £30,000 lace-adorned masterpiece that made me feel absolutely radiant.

As Olivia strolled along the aisle, supported by her father, with her mother, Jen, looking on in anticipation, Bradley struggled to conceal his feelings as he beheld his future spouse for the very first time.

On his special day, Bradley, accompanied by his loving parents and sister, exuded elegance in a tailor-made Charles Campbell suit. After popping the question to Olivia in 2019, he was now happily marrying the lady of his dreams.

The wedding that Julie Perry oversaw took a total of three years to plan, as the couple delayed their nuptials multiple times because of the worldwide pandemic.

The special occasion was also recorded for the four-episode television series titled “Olivia Gets Married to Mr. Right”, a sequel to the previous series called “Olivia Finds Her Perfect Match” from 2020.

Last April, during an episode of her podcast “So Wrong It’s Right,” Olivia discussed a popular meme that emerged online, which included a clip of her from the show.

She shared with her friend, Ryan Kay, “It seems to me that I ought to receive royalties and be involved in some way, given how ubiquitous it is.

Olivia joked: ‘I’m like, I should have a percentage of this cut. I don’t even have anything!’

She mentioned that it was intriguing for people to know that she didn’t earn a single cent from the series, absolutely nothing! Absolutely nothing, because in the end, she spent quite a lot trying to ensure everyone was satisfied.

Olivia confirmed she spent an eye-watering £200,000 on her very lavish wedding.

She told The Sun: ‘The figure [£200,000] was out there and it’s spot on.

It can be challenging for me as I’m open to discussing such topics, yet I strive to be considerate and avoid appearing out of touch. Moreover, the topic being six-figure sums often leaves me feeling uneasy.

Yet, Olivia admitted that she has no regrets about the day, even with its high cost, though she did confess that they ended up spending more than they had initially budgeted.

As a dedicated follower, I can honestly say that the experience was unforgettable – the band exceeded expectations, the food was delectable. However, as the event drew closer, I found myself agreeing to everything without giving much thought to the budget. In retrospect, it seems that we may have overshot our budget a bit, losing track along the way.
