Far Cry New Dawn Has Received a 60fps Update on Xbox Series X|S
Although it was launched in 2019, Ubisoft’s somewhat dreamlike game Far Cry New Dawn has recently been upgraded to run at a smooth 60 frames per second.
Surprise! We didn’t intend to share the news this way, but here it is: Far Cry New Dawn on Xbox Series X|S will soon receive a 60 FPS update! However, in order for the release to go smoothly, we need to turn off the FPS Boost temporarily at 4 PM PST (Feb 1, 0000 UTC). We appreciate your understanding and patience!
And for those gaming on PlayStation 5, here’s some great news – you’ll also be experiencing the 60 FPS upgrade! On the other hand, this Frame Rate Boost enhancement is exclusive to Xbox.
Oops, we had something different in mind for the announcement. 😅
However, exciting news for Far Cry New Dawn players on Xbox Series X|S! A 60 FPS update is on its way! 🎉 But to ensure a seamless release, we’ll need to pause the FPS Boost function temporarily at 4 PM PST (Feb 1, 0000 UTC). We appreciate your understanding and patience!— Ubisoft Support (@UbisoftSupport) January 31, 2025
