NEXON’s Mabinogi Mobile is set to launch in March 2025 in South Korea on mobile

Nexon is excited to share that they will soon be releasing their much-awaited mobile role-playing game, titled “Mabinogi Mobile.” This captivating title is set for release in March 2025, and it will be accessible on both Android and iOS devices.

According to a well-known and long-lasting intellectual property known as Mabinogi, the news of its transition to a mobile platform was initially revealed on February 19, 2021, during the Q4 2020 Earnings Conference. Later in 2021, it was demonstrated alongside two other mobile games, and then again at G-STAR 2022.

Get ready for a nostalgic experience as Mabinogi Mobile is gearing up for launch

The mobile version, titled “Mabinogi Mobile,” is a spin-off of the cherished MMORPG game, “Mabinogi,” created by the devCAT studio. First introduced in 2004, this mobile adaptation introduces fresh experiences, narratives, and characters that were absent from the original game.

Initially scheduled for a 2024 launch, as per Nexon’s mobile games roadmap for that year which also included titles such as Dungeon & Fighter Mobile, MapleStory Worlds, HIT The World, and Project Overkill, this unnamed game was pushed back. However, we now have an official release date, announced through a new teaser video titled “The World of Romance and Adventure you’ve been Dreaming of“.

The introductory scene introduces a character, likely our hero, venturing through a gateway between dimensions. Along his journey, he faces numerous adversaries, including a monstrous dragon-like entity. The storyline presents multiple characters and adversaries, eventually introducing Nao, the protector of Soul Stream, who assists Milletians in navigating the world of Erinn.

Although the video didn’t disclose any gameplay specifics, we can anticipate more insights during the upcoming Showcase scheduled for February 6, 2025, which will be hosted on YouTube. I am genuinely thrilled about this title and eagerly awaiting the showcase. Mabinogi Mobile is slated to debut on Android and iOS devices in March 2025.
