Blake Lively Stole It Ends With Us Rough Cut to Screen Without Permission, Viral Video Reveals

A recently reappeared clip of Blake Lively depicts her admitting that she secretly obtained an early version of the movie “It Ends With Us” for a screening at Colleen Hoover’s Book Bonanza event last year.

At a book fair, video recordings captured the actress, aged 37, playfully hinting she might reveal an incomplete cut of the film, apparently without approval from Wayfarer, a company co-founded by Justin Baldoni, or Sony Pictures.

Speaking to an audience of over 2,000 in Grapevine, Texas regarding the film, Lively comments: “I’m not joking, this isn’t just a joke, it’s actually real.

She added: ‘In truth, our original plan was to screen the entire film, but the studio insisted we only show 20 minutes. We argued that we wanted to show the full movie, and they said it wasn’t finished yet. I responded that they didn’t seem concerned.’

In a lively manner, she expressed to the audience, “If it’s not perfect yet, if it’s still being worked on, and there might be changes…,” She said. “These are the individuals who contributed to the book’s triumph. Your presence here, watching the movie, is crucial to us.

The author of “It Ends With Us”, Hoover, joined in and mentioned that they would be sharing an extremely preliminary version with the audience.

The author expressed great enthusiasm, noting that organizing 2,000 individuals for a movie theater event seemed daunting and potentially chaotic. However, they asked everyone to remain excited and patient as this is a significant honor, and they aim for the event to be successful.”

This version maintains the original meaning while using more natural and easy-to-read language.

Vigorously, she claimed that she transported the film onto an aircraft by carrying a folder and a disk saved on a hard drive.

The actress from Gossip Girl proceeded to discuss her intention of donning the most adorable denim attire at the upcoming event.

‘Although not a sponsored post, these adorable jeans with flowers have caught my eye, and they’re shaped like cutouts! When Colleen spotted my jeans, she felt inspired because of our shared affection. Guess what? She bought herself some matching flower-patterned jeans too! It looks like we might just become ‘denim influencers’ now!’

Below the widely shared video of Lively’s speech posted by digital creator Katie Paulson on Instagram recently, internet users promptly discussed her comments that had been made several months prior to the allegations against Baldoni of sexual harassment.

‘Why isn’t Sony suing her over this?’ one asked. 

‘To be honest, she acted as she pleased without regard for others. I would have let her go instantly. In fact, I’d rather remake the entire movie without her involvement and make her shoulder the cost of the harm she inflicted.’

As a die-hard fan, I’ve got to say, Blake Lively just never clicked with me. She always came off as entitled and rambling during her interviews, which left me feeling less than impressed.

Another Instagram user questioned, “It seems like you’re claiming this as your own work, but you’re not the copyright holder, the producer, or the director. Please stop presenting it as if it’s your film.

It’s unclear whether Lively actually received permission to screen the movie early or if her comment about showing it ahead of time was just a joke, even though she had been clearly advised against doing so.

In December 2024, Lively brought a lawsuit against Baldoni, claiming that he subjected her to sexual harassment and created a hostile work atmosphere during the filming of It Ends With Us.

On Saturday, Baldoni unveiled his personal website as a platform to counter the sexual harassment accusations made by Lively.

To provide clarity to the public during his ongoing legal dispute, the 41-year-old actor decided to make public an online platform, where he posted his revised claim and a chronology of significant events connected to the case.

As a devoted follower, I’m sharing this news following an update: After making changes to his $400 million lawsuit, my idol claimed that Blake Lively had given The New York Times early access to her sexual harassment allegation before its publication. Now, the site will be made public.

Baldoni referenced Lively’s appearance at Book Bonanza in his amended lawsuit. 

On page 87, I claimed that she privately premiered her personal edit of our movie at Book Bonanza, Colleen Hoover’s yearly gathering for authors and enthusiasts from across the globe – a highly anticipated event for me. This convention was something I had looked forward to attending for quite some time.

Essentially, the star claims that he wasn’t given the opportunity to evaluate the final version prior to its public screening.

On a Friday, Bryan Freedman, lawyer for Baldoni, shared with DailyMail.com that the decision to revise Baldoni’s lawsuit was made because of an abundance of fresh evidence that has recently surfaced.

Although the actor wished to participate in the event, he asserts that Sony communicated to the organizers (Wayfarer) that due to Lively’s information, Baldoni was unable to attend, disregarding the potential marketing and public relations challenges this might pose.

According to Freedman, this newly uncovered information supports our previous belief that, driven solely by self-interest, Ms. Lively and her team conspired for months, weaving a intricate net of truth twists, false claims, and the misuse of privately obtained communications, all aimed at tarnishing reputations.

He found: ‘The persistent online attention towards this case has surprisingly illuminated some undeniable truths regarding The New York Times and the significant role played by Ms. Lively and her representatives in the attempted takedown and defamatory campaign against Mr. Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and their associates. Not only were they deeply engaged in this effort, but they also instigated it themselves.’

This month, according to a report exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com, Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, have been making a stronger attempt to silence Baldoni and his legal team.

On Monday, the attorney for the couple penned an urgent plea to the judge overseeing the case, asking for a meeting to discuss their escalating worries about Freedman’s suspected behavior outside the courtroom, which they refer to as potential “misconduct beyond judicial bounds.

The document refers to Freedman’s recent interviews on various media platforms, along with the announcement of a new site developed by Baldoni’s group, intended for planned disclosure of specific papers and correspondence exchanged between the two actors who are currently at odds.

Last week’s report published by The Daily Mail disclosed that Baldoni’s legal team is currently developing a website centered around this case. This site will provide access to various raw video excerpts from the movie, any of which may align with Lively’s initial grievances against the actor.

Freedman has publicly warned: ‘We have all the receipts – and more.’

However, the couple’s legal representative, Michael Gottlieb, asserted that the website and statements made by Freedman are intended to sway the court hearings and public opinion about the case through the use of provocative material.

In my fervor as an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share that, according to Gottlieb’s correspondence, he openly declares his intention to effectively sabotage Blake Lively’s acting career for the long term. His methods allegedly involve establishing a platform to disseminate carefully chosen documents and exchanges between Ms. Lively and Mr. Baldoni.

The upcoming website claims to publish all raw WhatsApp, text, and email conversations between Lively and Baldoni as stated by Mr. Freedman, but it’s important to note that neither the media nor the public can verify which messages might be excluded from disclosure. This could potentially include communications that Mr. Freedman or his clients may have deleted.

In simpler terms, Gottlieb contends that the website likely won’t feature conversations between Freedman and Baldoni with news outlets. As a result, he suggests the platform could be perceived as inadequate, biased, or unfair due to its design.

Additionally, he suggests that Freedman is twisting Lively’s petition for a gag order into an attempt to muzzle them due to apprehension, with the intention of tarnishing her reputation.

A well-informed insider asserted that the site aims to enhance the case’s openness, emphasizing it won’t feature biased information.

According to the source who spoke to DailyMail.com on Monday, the website in question will not be discriminatory. Instead, it’s intended to do the complete opposite of what was done before – to avoid selection bias, refrain from picking and choosing specific items, and to ensure authenticity of messages, unlike what was allegedly done when providing them to The New York Times.

A disagreement or conflict between Lively and Baldoni initially surfaced as whispers of disharmony on the set of their joint production, a drama centered around domestic abuse. This tension intensified further during the marketing efforts leading up to its premiere in August.

As recounted by Baldoni, the animosity between the two leading actors was so intense that he and his family were exiled to the cinema’s basement for the premiere, a decision made by Lively herself.
