NASCAR: Full starting lineup for the 2025 Clash at Bowman Gray

20 drivers qualified for the 200-lap Cook Out Clash held on Sunday night after completing four 25-race heats at Bowman Gray Stadium on Saturday evening. This short, fast-paced oval track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina is a four-turn, quarter-mile long (0.402 kilometers).

19 drivers who didn’t make it past qualifying will participate in a 75-lap elimination race on Sunday evening. The top two racers from that event will proceed to the main competition, as well as the highest-ranked driver in the 2024 point standings among those still not qualified.

Since Joey Logano, who won the NASCAR Cup Series championship last year and placed second in his heat race for this event, has qualified for The Clash, Ryan Blaney, who was the runner-up last year, is guaranteed a spot on the grid, despite finishing in 10th place during his own heat race.

In the Last Chance Qualifier, Blaney will begin in position 17. Given this starting point, he has relatively low odds of placing among the top two and securing a spot in the main event through this route.

As a gamer, I find myself in a nail-biting situation as we approach the final race of the season. Two drivers, Kyle Larson from Hendrick Motorsports and Ty Gibbs from Joe Gibbs Racing, have a slim chance to secure their spots through the 2024 provisional. If things go my way (Blaney finishes outside of the top two and I don’t), then I’m in with Larson. But if Blaney finishes ahead of me and Larson, or both finish in the top two, it’s Gibbs who takes the win. However, if Blaney manages to avoid a top two finish altogether, he secures his spot regardless. It’s a high-stakes game of strategy, and I’m counting on my skills and a bit of luck to bring home the victory!

Here’s my attempt:
