Genshin Impact Furina Guide: Materials, Weapons, Artifacts, Playstyle and Team Comps
In the upcoming Version 5.4 update, Fontaine’s Hydro Archon “Endless Solo of Solitude” Furina (hydro/sword), initially introduced in Version 4.2, will be re-run. Furina serves as an off-field sub-DPS and a top-tier damage buffer within Genshin Impact. This guide aims to explain how to optimally build her and effectively incorporate her into her strongest teams during gameplay.
Genshin Impact Furina Guide: Materials, Weapons and Artifacts
Materials
As the character Furina in Hydro, you’ll need Varunada Lazurite stones for leveling up, which can be found from the Hydro Hypostasis and Oceanid. Additionally, Water That Failed To Transcend is another material needed for her ascension, and it drops from the new boss introduced in version 4.2, the Hydro Tulpas. For her talent materials, you’ll find them by defeating the All-Devouring Narwhal weekly boss. You can find a comprehensive list of Furina’s materials here.
Weapons
Furina’s most powerful tool is her unique ability, the “Radiance of Serene Seas”, and for those who prefer a free-to-play option, there’s always “Ravenous Longing”. Be sure to read our article for a comprehensive list of Furina’s top weapons.
Artifacts
For the Sands artifact, consider using HP percentage if possible, but switch to Energy Recharge (ER) when needed. However, for the Goblet, use HP% as it synergizes well with her Damage Bonus%, especially from her Elemental Burst. If she’s the sole Hydro character in your team, aim for an ER ratio of 180-200%. With just one more Hydro character, reduce the requirement to 160%, and further lower it to 120% if you have three Hydro characters.
Sands | Goblet | Circlet |
---|---|---|
ER% or HP% | HP% or Hydro DMG bonus% | CRIT rate/CRIT DMG |
The optimal artifact set for Furina is the Golden Troupe 4-piece set. Be sure to explore our guide on the ideal artifact sets for Furina.
Genshin Impact Furina Guide: Playstyle, Team Comps, and Constellations
Playstyle
Team Comps
Furina is versatile enough to fit into any squad that benefits from skilled Hydro usage. Such squads might be Bloom, Hyperbloom, Taser, Freeze, or even a single-Hydro team. A crucial prerequisite for using Furina in a team setup is ensuring there’s a healer present. For an in-depth look at the best teams for Furina, refer to this article: Exploring Optimal Teams Featuring Furina.
Constellations
Final Thoughts
As an ardent player, I can confidently say that Furina truly meets the high standards set by the Hydro Archon. In terms of boosting damage mitigation (DMG) for my team, she is unparalleled; she’s simply the best at it across the entire game. Furthermore, she offers a noteworthy amount of off-field personal DMG as well.
