Lindsay Lohan Reveals First Pics of Son Luai After a Year of Privacy

On Friday, Lindsay Lohan unveiled pictures of her young son Luai, who was born in July 2023, for the very first time.

In an Instagram post, the 38-year-old actress shared pictures of her 36-year-old spouse, Bader Shammas, and their 18-month-old child during a fun day at the zoo.

Onlookers witnessed the youth being held by his father, gazing curiously at a wildlife exhibit. Additionally, his mother provided him with a close encounter with a wriggling reptile.

Another image displayed Luai, wearing a charming yellow polka-dot hat, leading the actress from Freaky Friday through the park.

Apart from the main image, she additionally posted several other photos during her January collection, such as affectionate selfies with her spouse and a separate picture featuring Yasmine Shammas, a family member of hers.

The actress captioned her carousel of images with a simple heart emoji. 

Lindsay’s family pictures received lots of appreciation from her 15.5 million followers, earning thousands of likes and praise-filled comments. Fans admired her commitment as a mother.

In 2019, over a dinner among mutual companions in Dubai, the actress from Ireland and her show’s executive producer first crossed paths. They eventually got married in 2021, marking their commitment to each other with a “I do”.

Last year during the filming of Freaky Friday, I couldn’t help but notice that my idol, Jaime Lee Curtis, referred to Lindsay as a fiery redhead who stepped into ‘mom role’ with enthusiasm on set.

The 66-year-old stated that the woman, who has one child, was essentially always in “mothering” or “caretaking” mode. He added that she genuinely enjoys this role and finds it quite challenging to divert her attention away from it.

Despite not having her son on set while films were being made, Jamie revealed that Bader often picked her up from work nearly every day.

Bader and Luai arrived at her trailer where they waited for her, and later, they all left for home together – she couldn’t help but be excited about it.

At Disney’s D23 fan gathering in August, where they were promoting their movie, they were asked who they’d like to swap bodies with (as in their popular movie), and Lohan responded by saying she’d prefer to swap with her own baby.

Lohan replied, “Perhaps it’s my baby. It’s such a delight – because he’s so innocent and always cheerful, just observing life from his perspective each day. He’s like a radiant ball of happiness. I can’t imagine anything more wonderful.

It’s not yet clear when Disney will officially announce the release date, but it’s likely that the movie Freaky Friday will hit theaters in 2025 for viewers to enjoy.

Filming for the sequel began in June of 2024 with production wrapping in late August.

In the 2003 movie adaptation of Mary Rodgers’ 1972 novel “Freaky Friday,” characters Curtis and Lohan played the roles of a mother-daughter pair who experienced an unusual body swap.
