Netflix has officially announced the release date for Squid Game Season 3! With hints and a touch of anticipation, the streaming service has finally made it clear when viewers will be able to catch up. Here’s what you need to know!

Squid Game Season 3 release date

According to the latest announcement from Netflix’s official account, Squid Game Season 3 is set to premiere on June 27th. The news was shared via a post which included both the date and an accompanying visual.

The post said, “You won’t find anything that fully prepares you for the last season of Squid Game.” It continues, “The new season starts on June 27th.

It’s worth noting that before the formal announcement, a screenshot posted on Reddit suggested the same release date. As per the post, the screenshot appeared to be taken from one of Netflix’s YouTube videos.

What will happen in Squid Game Season 3?

Beyond announcing when Squid Game Season 3 will debut, Netflix also shared that the upcoming installment will continue the storyline following the cliffhanger at the end of Season 2. To offer fans a glimpse of what lies ahead, Tudum, Netflix’s affiliated site, released five images as sneak peeks into the third season. These photos can be found in the gallery provided below.
