Emily Blackwell’s Wedding Plans: Baby Eva to Be Adorable Flower Girl!
Emily Blackwell announced some thrilling updates, as she’s been busy organizing her upcoming wedding with her partner, Jordan Oldershaw.
28-year-old star of Made In Chelsea shares a touching revelation about the role their three-month-old daughter, Eva June, will have during the upcoming event.
She informed The Mirror: “I have some wedding preparations ahead! Our plan is to tie the knot in 2026, giving me a few years to organize everything.
Eva will also serve as a sweet little flower girl at the wedding, making it even more delightful. Above all, I want us to enjoy ourselves during the celebration.
Emily confessed her desire for the event to be enjoyable rather than stressful, preferring it to be a celebration rather than a grand wedding.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I can’t help but share my own enthusiasm about the reality star’s eagerness to embrace the title of wife. However, she confided in me that their schedule is overflowing this year, making it challenging for them to fit a wedding into 2025.
In August 2024, she accepted a proposal from Jordan while they were enjoying an extravagant trip in Florence, as he had proposed to her there.
In December, Emily shared that their daughter, Eva June, was born prematurely about two months earlier.
The couple’s initial baby arrived ten weeks prematurely and had to remain in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for 53 days, confined within an incubator. This period, as Emily put it, was the most challenging they’d faced during their life together with Jordan.
Yet, the family is currently cherishing their shared moments, and Emily has recently uploaded numerous heartwarming photos from the past couple of months onto Instagram.
A week ago, under the label ‘TEAM,’ the celebrity posted a heartwarming collection of pictures showing the family enjoying their time together in various settings.
This past week, I too shared a heartwarming snapshot, capturing myself beaming with pride while cradling my precious bundle of joy, who returned an infectious grin.
I couldn’t help but eagerly post a breathtaking snapshot of my beloved trio embarking on a leisurely walk, which I captioned: ‘My cherished strolls with mom and dad,’ as they effortlessly guided our precious little one in the pram.
The newly-minted mother gleamed with joy, enveloped in a chic black coat and cream knit hat.
She completed the look with straight leg pale blue jeans and beige UGGS.
While baby Eva, bundled in her coat and a charming cap, dozed peacefully in her stroller.
The celebrity too posted a set of images to mark 2024, admitting that it was “the most remarkable, stunning yet tough year of my existence”.
In September, Emily revealed that she was expecting a baby, only three weeks following the announcement of her engagement with Jordan.
She posted a compilation showing the baby’s hospital stay, from being connected to medical equipment to ultimately recovering enough to return home.
Emily shared this long message: “Hey there, the lovely Eva Oldershaw was born on November 3rd, 2024. Following a 53-day stay at the NICU, our precious premature baby has returned home at last! Eva made her entry into the world over ten weeks early.
‘To say the last few months have been the hardest times of our lives, would be an understatement.’
She went on saying: ‘We weren’t allowed to bring our newborn child home for two whole months, which left us feeling helpless and uncertain. We spent countless hours watching monitors, hearing beeping sounds and alarm signals, all the while wondering what the next day would hold.’
Gazing at Eva confined within an incubator adorned with numerous wires, I felt utterly powerless. I implored the nurses for assistance, so we could cradle our newborn together.
It wasn’t what I had envisioned… Yet, Eva proves to be quite resilient, and I’m deeply thankful that she’s now safe at home in good health.
Emily went on: ‘I can’t thank the NHS enough and in particular, the Chelsea Westminster Hospital.
‘The midwives, doctors and nurses are ABSOLUTE angels, who we will forever be indebted to’.
Despite it not being as I initially anticipated, I am incredibly thankful for the incredible journey we’ve shared. We’ve been blessed with an additional ten weeks with our precious daughter, witnessing her overcome numerous challenges. Truly, she is a remarkable small warrior.
It’s now the perfect moment for us to adapt, cherish each second, and revel in our new lifestyle as a trio. Let’s immerse ourselves deeply in this newborn phase.
Before saying: Jordan, you’ve been our steadfast support throughout everything. We couldn’t have navigated through this without your help.
As a lifestyle advisor, let me express my admiration from the heart: Balancing personal life and business endeavors is quite the juggling act, and every day I find myself in awe of your resilience. It’s not just about running a successful business; it’s about how gracefully you navigate through the challenges while nurturing our precious daughter. Your dedication and love have only grown stronger in my eyes, making me cherish you even more.
