You’s final season shares new look ahead of April release date
You‘s final season has shared a new look with a teaser and still ahead of its release in April.
In a new twist for the Netflix thriller, Joe Goldberg, played by Penn Badgley, and Kate Galvin, portrayed by Charlotte Ritchie, will be back in New York City. Instead of settling into a blissful future together, Joe’s past demons and inner turmoil are set to disrupt their plans for happiness.
In a recent sneak peek, Joe appears inside a transparent container, addressing the viewers: “Greetings! Don’t we know each other? It feels like our paths have certainly intersected. Let me jog your memory if you’ll allow it.
Hi there, I’m Joe. It would be nice to learn more about each other before our paths part ways. Farewell for now.” (He then awkwardly says goodbye.)
An image featuring Joe has been revealed, showing him strolling through the streets of New York City before the series starts airing on April 24th.
In the upcoming episodes, Badgley will rejoin Ritchie and Tati Gabrielle portraying Marienne Bellamy. Additionally, new characters will be introduced: Madeline Brewer as Bronte, Anna Camp as Raegan, Maddie Lockwood, Griffin Matthews as Teddy Lockwood, and Nava Mau as Marquez.
Additionally, you’ll notice some backstage adjustments in the upcoming episodes. Previously, Sera Gamble held the position of showrunner, but she will now be replaced by a duo – Michael Foley and Justin W Lo.
Last year, I had the privilege and sheer joy of being part of a team that crafted this show – writers, producers, directors, actors, and crew alike. It was not just an honor, but an exhilarating experience! Working alongside the immensely talented Penn Badgley was like hitting the jackpot for me. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have collaborated with such a gifted and thoughtful artist.
I’m thrilled with everything we’ve achieved together, and it’s an honor for me to hand over the responsibility. I can’t wait to cheer on your team as they wrap up Joe Goldberg’s fascinating tale in a wonderfully intriguing manner.
You seasons 1-4 are streaming on Netflix. Season 5 will stream on Netflix on April 24.
