Payday 3 to See Return of Chicken-Masked Hotline Miami Heister ‘Jacket’ From Next Week
In the coming week, the much-loved character Jacket from Payday 3 will make a comeback. This iconic figure is also recognized from Hotline Miami, where he dons his signature chicken mask, letterman jacket, voice recorder, and notoriety for brutal violence, often wielding a baseball bat.
For the special event, developer Starbreeze has crafted a mini-game titled ‘Don’t be a Hero’, which provides a covert perspective on the style of the Hotline Miami games. The game, developed by Starbreeze Graphic Designer Vincent Hellberg, places you in the role of bank teller Milton, who, as a survivor, must sneak past the Payday gang, rescue coworkers, and gather cash during his escape.
The character pack featuring Jacket will be available as a paid downloadable content for Payday 3 on February 3rd. This pack includes Jacket’s outfit, his signature mask (Richard Rising), the Miami Decadence preset weapon (Tribune 32), Sociopath Overskill weapon, Letterman charm, and a Richard 1989 sticker.
In the upcoming updates for Payday 3, you’ll have the chance to customize your Overkill weaponry with a brand-new Specialization System, and Twitch drops for the Valentine Edition will be offered at no cost. This action-packed game is ready for play on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms.
