For several months the previous year, it seemed Brittany Higgins and David Sharaz were destined to live out their days in obscurity near Bordeaux.

However, pregnancy reshuffled their priorities, much like it frequently does for newlywed couples, and they have permanently returned to Australia, accompanied by their pet Kingston, who has just completed his quarantine period.

And where will they be living?

Initially, it seemed logical that the Gold Coast would be the location since it’s where the couple got married, and prior to moving to Canberra in 2018, Higgins had resided there with her mother.

However, what seems to be the case is that their focus has shifted towards Melbourne, specifically the southeastern districts, as per reports suggesting they have been scrutinizing properties in the area recently.

In the affluent and family-oriented area of Malvern East, it’s rumored that a couple is planning to purchase a property. The average house price there is approximately 2 million dollars, while units cost more than 600,000 dollars on average.

As per my information, it appears that Higgins is considering moving to Malvern East, as her close acquaintance, lobbyist Emma Webster, resides in that area.

For individuals who kept up with the Lehrmann defamation case, Webster was frequently observed standing by Higgins outside the courtroom. Higgins has referred to her as his “one true love,” while Sharaz described her as a trusted confidante and someone who is essentially an integral part of their relationship.

As for Sharaz, I’ve heard he’s aiming to join the political scene of Victoria, having spent quite some time out of work. During this period, his unwavering dedication was towards supporting his beloved wife.

According to a knowledgeable Melbourne real estate agent, it appears that Higgins is not planning to purchase a grand estate, despite receiving a $2.4 million compensation award after experiencing sexual assault at Parliament House in 2019.

Ever since then, she has been compelled to shell out approximately $1 million towards legal fees in response to a defamation lawsuit filed against her by her ex-boss, Senator Linda Reynolds.

It remains uncertain if she and Sharaz were able to sell their house in France, as rumors indicate they might end up losing money from the sale.

Higgins, having tied the knot with Sharaz in June 2023 and announcing her pregnancy the subsequent month, relocated to France in December 2023, aiming for a fresh start following allegations of intense public attention.

During their search for properties in Melbourne, the pair managed to squeeze in a brief trip to Byron Bay earlier this week. There, Higgins proudly displayed her growing belly on Suffolk Park beach.

The former wife of a co-founder at Laser Clinics Australia, who is also a socialite, has been developing her personal beauty empire following her separation from the wealthy individual.

Kate Champion is nearly ready to take flight with a cosmetic beauty clinic in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, having already scheduled a launch date.
