It appears lady luck is smiling on Canadian rapper Drake after arriving Down Under.

Drake, the artist who made God’s Plan a hit, aged 38, is all set to begin his long-awaited Anita Max Win tour with two consecutive performances at Perth’s RAC Arena starting from February 4. Later, he will perform in four shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena from February 9 to 13.

Upon reaching Melbourne midweek, I, being a devoted follower, swiftly steered towards Crown Casino with my companions, and it seems our trip yielded much more than just casual fun.

DJ Gordo, accompanying the rapper, posted a brief video on his Instagram story, showing a visibly joyful Drake.

The video was filmed inside an elevator, seemingly from a casino, where Drake performed a joyful dance as a celebration.

In a laid-back style, wearing a white shirt featuring a Texas football logo and a matching cap, the rapper carried a substantial amount of casino chips in his hand.

Gordo subtly suggested that good fortune was undeniably favoring Drake, as he declared that the rapper allegedly walked away with over half a million dollars from the Melbourne Casino.

‘700k for lunch,’ he cheekily captioned the video.

It seems like Gordo enjoyed a series of victories, as evidenced by another photo displaying a detailed view of a $25,000 casino chip.

‘Which city in Oz has the best parties,’ the Sideways hitmaker captioned the image. 

After Drake had previously posted a picture showing his crotch area adorned with $25,000 worth of casino chips, he quickly removed it from view.

“He proudly declared, ‘I’ve received a welcoming pack from Melbourne!'” and with a mix of amusement and joy, “At last, an Australian casino showing some affection!” (with a laugh-cry emoji).

Upon landing in Melbourne, Drake immediately flaunted his opulent Australian tour life without delay.

‘I reckon we’re home mate,’ Drake captioned a carousel of photos posted to Instagram on Wednesday.

In a playful imitation of paparazzi photography, the initial picture captures Drake, along with three individuals from his group, enjoying a meal at Nobu.

Drake also filmed himself bounding down the steps of his private jet, with a red solo cup in hand. 

Casually attired in a pair of gray jogging pants, slippers, and a long-sleeved sports shirt, the music celebrity appeared carefree as he exited the enormous plane and entered the warm Australian daylight.

He flew into Melbourne on his Boeing 767, affectionately named ‘Air Drake.’

In his collection of photos, Drake shared a glimpse of the luxurious suite he stayed in, highlighting that it had not just one but two spacious living areas, one boasting a massive TV that stretched across an entire wall.

The Presidential Villa features four bedrooms, including two bathrooms connected to the master suite, along with a personal massage area and a dining room designed for up to twelve diners.

Alongside Drake, his group will enjoy the benefits of a dedicated limousine service, an around-the-clock on-call support team, a private gym, and a personal attendant available at their beck and call.

In Australian circles, who are the acquaintances or contacts we have? This is the context for a photo that Drake shared today, depicting his security personnel guiding him towards his private elevator.

Additionally, he posted a Bananas in Pyjamas animated series, a kangaroo character from a boxing cartoon, and an antique picture showing him dressed in a Wallabies jersey while performing in Australia.

This upcoming tour signifies that it has been eight years since Drake last performed in Australia, which was back in 2017 during the Boy Meets World tour.

However, some of Drake’s supporters worried that starting his Australian tour on the same day as the NFL Super Bowl might put them in a difficult position, making them have to decide between enjoying music or sports.

Luckily, the Super Bowl will begin Monday, February 10 from 10.30am AEDT. 

Kendrick Lamar, a notable music rival of Drake, intends to perform his popular song that takes aim at Drake, titled “Not Like Us,” during the Super Bowl intermission.

Over the summer, a controversial song that seemingly implicates Drake in inappropriate behavior towards minors took the internet by storm, sparking a heated exchange between us musicians. As someone who advocates for a positive and respectful lifestyle, I found this situation particularly disconcerting.

Contrary to the recent lawsuit filed by Drake against Universal Music Group regarding a specific song, it is reported that he plans to still perform that very same track in New Orleans.
