New York Times Caught Prepping Blake Lively’s Harassment Report Before Complaint Official!
Today, it’s been suggested that The New York Times had been preparing a groundbreaking exposé for at least five days prior to when Blake Lively’s lawsuit about sexual harassment allegations against Justin Baldoni became public knowledge.
An image combining the stars of “It Ends with Us,” made for an article titled ‘We Can Bury Anyone’: Unveiling the Hollywood Smear Machine, contains within its URL a hidden date – December 16, 2024, as DailyMail.com uncovers.
This could imply that the Times team may have possessed prior knowledge about Lively’s grievance, and they were possibly prepared to release an article as soon as she submitted her claim to the California Civil Rights Department on December 21.
If the actress cooperated like this, it could weaken her primary argument that Baldoni was plotting with his media associates to tarnish her reputation, not the other way around.
Additionally, such legal action against The Times might further strengthen the case of the versatile actor-filmmaker, who filed a lawsuit worth $250 million, alleging that their coverage contained numerous errors, distortions, and missing facts.
Initially, a striking piece of evidence was found by TikTok creator goojiepooj when they noticed that the URL for the combined image was ‘2024-12-16-lively-topper’. Further images were discovered to be dated from December 18 to December 20.
Living and her famous movie star spouse, Ryan Reynolds, have requested the judge to issue a restraining order against Baldoni’s legal team, prohibiting them from making ‘aggressive and reprisal-oriented’ statements to the press.
Lawyer for Baldoni, Bryan Freedman, argues against the attempt to silence him, asserting that it is unfairly restrictive to prevent the father of two from expressing his perspective publicly, especially since Lively recently shared her account through the New York Times.
In the 2024 film adaption of Colleen Hoover’s celebrated novel about domestic violence and emotional abuse, Lively (age 37) and Baldoni (age 40) displayed a harmonious on-screen chemistry.
It became a surprise hit at the box office, grossing $351million on a budget of $25million.
However, subsequent legal disputes disclosed that the relationship deteriorated when Lively reportedly sought more creative authority and began feeling progressively uneasy during intimate filming moments with Baldoni.
In December, Lively was the one who initiated a lawsuit, claiming that Baldoni had invaded her privacy by entering her trailer when she was bare-chested. She also alleged that he exhibited graphic footage of his wife giving birth and forcibly kissed her during an impromptu kissing scene, nibbling and sucking on her lips without consent.
As an over-the-moon admirer, I couldn’t help but point out more allegations against him. This time, it was about scheming to tarnish my reputation. To support my claim, I brought up a text message from his publicist, Melissa Nathan, which read ominously: “We can bury anyone.
Her allegations of sexual harassment gained widespread attention due to the almost simultaneous release of a detailed article by The New York Times, spanning over 4,000 words and drawing extensively from her original complaint, a document that is usually kept confidential.
Baldoni took legal action against The Times, arguing that they did not properly investigate Lively’s accusations of sexual harassment and retaliation. He contends that they primarily relied on Lively’s unconfirmed and self-beneficial story, using it almost word for word while disregarding a wealth of evidence that conflicted with her statements.
The newspaper plans to ‘vigorously defend against the lawsuit,’ per its spokesman.
Later on, Baldoni filed a lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds, effectively flipping the storyline by asserting that it was actually their camp who were responsible for the defamation and seeking $400 million in compensation.
He claimed she manipulated the interpretations of his messages and teamed up with Leslie Sloane, a prominent Hollywood publicist, to subtly spread negative articles about herself in the press.
In essence, Baldoni proposed that the entire situation was orchestrated as a strategy to restore Lively’s public image, following her receiving negative feedback for appearing sharp and challenging during interviews and promotional activities.
According to his argument, any unfavorable attention towards the female lead was generated naturally.
A new turn of events unfolded in the ongoing dispute, as DailyMail.com released never-before-seen raw video clips capturing Baldoni and Lively acting out a passionate dance sequence as their on-screen characters, Lily Bloom and Ryle Kincaid.
During their conversation, Lively claims that Baldoni moved closer to her, then gently trailed his lips from her ear to her neck while remarking, ‘it smells wonderful’.
According to DailyMail.com’s video, they seem to be exchanging friendly yet business-oriented dialogues during breaks in their work.
At a crucial point, Baldoni inquires of Lively if he’s growing a beard on her. In response, she jokes, “I’m likely giving you a spray tan instead.” This remark amuses Baldoni, who then comments, “It smells nice,” before they both chuckle.
Freedman emphasized the video as evidence showing his client acted properly and had no secrets, while Lively contended it supported her accusations of misconduct.
In a statement given to DailyMail.com, Justin Baldoni’s legal team expressed their belief that the recent action he took might be an attempt to preempt harmful evidence against him. However, they acknowledged that the video itself is incriminating.
The video allegedly depicts Mr. Baldoni repeatedly making advances toward Ms. Lively, such as attempting to kiss her on the lips, kissing her forehead, brushing his face and mouth against her neck, lightly touching her lip with his thumb, caressing her, complimenting her scent, and engaging in conversation that seems out of character for him.
