Call the Midwife star gets heartfelt family support amid career move
As a gaming aficionado, I’d rephrase that as: “My mom sent me a heartfelt message after I landed my latest role in the BBC series ‘Call the Midwife.’
Ververs, recognized for his role in Amazon Prime Video’s “The Rig,” made his appearance in the most recent episode of “Call the Midwife” as novice sister Sister Catherine Cantwell.
On the show’s official Facebook page, Caroline, the actor’s mother, publicly announced her pride regarding her daughter’s new role on the show, writing: “I couldn’t be more thrilled! I’ve seen all the effort Molly has put in to reach this milestone. To me, it seems that all those hours spent waiting in a car during rehearsals and auditions are finally bearing fruit.
On the official page for Call the Midwife, they replied to your words of support with this: “You should be proud, Caroline! Molly truly REPRESENTS you well. We ADORE her.
Their messages were posted beneath a video of Molly talking about Nonnatus’ nun-in-training.
“Sister Catherine is a young woman who comes to Nonnatus House as a postulant nun,” she explained.
The actor mentioned that she’s got quite a few tasks at hand, as she talked about the extensive research she needs to do before taking her initial vows and preparing for her midwifery tests, regarding her character.
She’s smart, enthusiastic, and highly intelligent, yet it seems she’s dealing with numerous aspects of her life whenever we encounter her.
In a warm display of camaraderie, the ensemble of the historical drama banded together to express their support for the latest addition to the cast. Rebecca Gethings, portraying Sister Veronica, expressed this sentiment in a video message: “Our dear Molly, who plays Sister Catherine, it’s as if she’s been part of our family from the start. She’s blended in so effortlessly.
Jenny Agutter, too, reminisced about Molly’s debut in the series. “She portrays a wonderful character,” commented the actress known for her role as Sister Julienne.
Showing great zest and enthusiasm, there’s a strong eagerness in her to participate and demonstrate her deep affection and commitment towards her faith. This quality is endearing to Sister Julienne as it reminds her of similar sentiments from her past.
