Eslabon Armado, DannyLux, Red Pears, more to play benefit concert to provide L.A. fire relief
Eslabon Armado, Cuco, and DannyLux have joined many other artists in scheduling performances at charity concerts taking place nationwide, aimed at assisting those affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles.
On Friday, January 31st, three ballad-performing groups will play at The Glass House in Pomona, as part of the “I Heart L.A.” concert series arranged by Viva Music Festival. Indie bands Inner Wave, the Red Pears, and Tijuana Panthers will perform on the same stage the following day, February 1st.
DannyLux expressed, “Our deepest desire was to assist. Despite not being a native of Los Angeles, we’ve invested a significant amount of time there, and it pained us deeply to witness the distress unfolding.
So far, the Los Angeles fires have torched over 57,000 acres of land since January 7th. At least 28 lives have been lost, and approximately 16,000 structures have been demolished. The impact has been severe in the communities of Altadena and Pacific Palisades, which are not only vital centers but also homes to many musicians and creative minds.

California
I’d like to highlight organizations, corporations, and non-profit entities that are extending a helping hand by providing free supplies, resources, and services to those affected by the devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area. These compassionate groups are truly making a difference during these challenging times.
DannyLux expressed, “It’s such a joy to come together and appreciate the music we produce, surrounded by those who encourage us and who are committed to a worthy cause.
The funds raised from both Friday’s and Saturday’s shows will be given to MusiCares, a charity that offers assistance to struggling musicians during unexpected crises, as well as medical care services for prevention and recovery. Tickets for the show on Friday are priced at $123.60, while tickets for the concert on Saturday begin at $46.51.
