After the passing of her father just before Christmas, Ruby Rose has recently transformed her appearance with a fresh new style.

38-year-old actress from “The Meg,” posted a video on Instagram on Monday showcasing her newly bald head while promoting the vehicle brand, Jeep.

Wearing a casual grunge style, the Australian actress chose a baggy grey t-shirt and frayed denim shorts. To complete the outfit, she decided to cut all her hair short.

In the video, Ruby put on a pair of dark sunglasses while she shared that she had been in Melbourne for the past three weeks, arranging her father’s funeral.

She expressed her deep gratitude in the description of her video, saying that she couldn’t possibly thank everyone enough for the past three weeks in Melbourne.

The famous actress recently sported a new clean-shaven appearance, following her candid discussion about her father who endured years of abuse in various orphanages and boys’ homes during his childhood, which he later passed away from.

After the passing of her father Peter close to Christmas, the Australian actress expressed touching remarks.

In my own words, I’d say: “Farewell, Dad. Leaving me here, all on my own, stirs up a whirlwind of intricate feelings within me.” This is how I expressed my heartache in a post I shared on Instagram Stories not so long ago.

On Christmas, Ruby posted images of her deceased father for her audience, describing the challenging bond they had throughout his life.

‘R.I.P and Merry Christmas Dad,’ Ruby wrote.

It’s nice to have reconnected with you a few years back, but I won’t sugarcoat it – the experience has been quite challenging. You’re aware of this, right?

You were quite tough on me. I had to disconnect from you not just once, but twice during that period, with one break lasting an entire year. However, our most recent emails were exchanged just prior to your passing. My message to you was compassionate, and I am grateful for those interactions.

Moreover, she disclosed that her father experienced a chaotic upbringing in his childhood, marked by abuse, not only at St. Augustine’s Boys’ Orphanage but also in various boys’ homes scattered throughout Melbourne.

Additionally, she criticized ex-Christian Brother William Houston, now serving time for his conviction on charges of sexually abusing two boys at St. Augustine’s.

‘I found it very hard to hear about what happened to you as a child,’ she wrote.

Could you tell me about the experiences of your brothers who were under the care of St. Augustine’s, orphanages, and boys’ homes in Melbourne? Brother Houston, I wish for justice, that you may receive a severe punishment if found guilty.

Ruby did not reveal her father’s cause of death but did hint at their difficult relationship.

She shared that learning about her father’s abusive past gave her a deeper understanding of him, yet it didn’t lessen the pain she experienced due to his actions.

She wrote, “This doesn’t erase the harm I suffered, but it does help me comprehend your actions better.

Trying to comprehend you felt like cherishing you. Farewell, Dad, my heart is heavy with sorrow. No one could shield you. My regret is profound that life didn’t offer you more.

‘I’m devastated really. You’re probably blown away by how sad I am. If you can see me.’

At the end of her post, Ruby stated that she had pardoned her father, even though he never expressed remorse for the mistreatment she suffered.

She expressed that it seemed like you never truly apologized fully. In truth, you appeared unsure of how to start, yet I have already and continue to forgive you.

Raised on a farm in rural Victoria, the previous video hostess spent her childhood alongside her mother Katia and father Peter, who specialized in breeding racehorses.

As a child, I was fortunate enough to call several places home due to my family circumstances. When I was merely a toddler, life took an unexpected turn with my parents separating. From then on, I found myself adapting and growing in Churchill, Gippsland, Surfers Paradise, and eventually Melbourne – all before reaching my full potential.
