BBC Radio presenter Andy Ball has died, it was confirmed on Monday.
Heartfelt tributes flooded in following the news of the BBC Merseyside radio host’s sad demise, marking the end of his 30-year career on air.
His cause of death currently remains unknown.
It’s with great sadness that we must inform you about the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Andy Ball.
For almost three decades, Andy served at BBC Merseyside in various roles, including hosting, reporting, and being a member of the executive team.
He had a deep affection for the river and found immense pleasure in visiting various communities spread throughout all of Merseyside.
