Clash Royale Super Cards guide: Complete list, their details, and tier list

In Clash Royale, they’re introducing several events, including revivals of some older ones. One fresh event that piqued my interest is the Super Cards Draft. Do you recall the indestructible Mini PEKKA or the friendly-turned-enemy Magic Archer? Yes, they’re back! Although it’s delightful to see them again, it’s even better that no cards are permanently added. If you’ve forgotten how these Super Cards function, this guide is perfect for you. It will explain all the Super Cards in Clash Royale, list them all, detail their workings, and provide a tier list to help you decide what to pick.

Clash Royale Super Cards Explained

There are a total of 11 Super Cards currently in Clash Royale.

Super Witch

  • Elixir Cost: 6

1. She summons four skeletons like the standard Witch does.
2. Two bats appear, much like the Night Witch would do.
3. Furthermore, she can place a curse on enemy troops as Mother Witch does, turning them into ‘Cursed Hogs’ when they are defeated.

Super Mini Pekka

  • Elixir Cost: 4

The Tiny Super Pekka is recognized for its destructive ability to eliminate opponents in a single strike. Remarkably, it shares the same cost as its non-superior counterpart. This versatile card can wipe out tanks, buildings, or even towers with a single blow. To make things even more challenging, it leaves behind healing pancakes as it advances, which nearby cards can collect to recover health, increasing the complexity of dealing with this formidable mini-tank.

Santa Hog Rider

  • Elixir Cost: 5

The Hog Rider Santa Character, with a cost of 5 elixirs, offers an exciting and erratic gameplay experience. As it dashes across the battlefield, it leaves enchanted gifts in its wake. These presents transform into various spells such as Clone, Heal, Rage, or Invisibility when friendly units encounter them, providing unexpected chances that you should keep track of.

Wizard Trio

  • Elixir Cost: 7

In simpler terms, the trio of Wizards – Wizard, Ice Wizard, and Electro Wizard – combine their powers for a reduced cost of two Elixir. They are effective against groups of enemies (swarms and tanks) due to their combined damage output. However, they are susceptible to medium spells such as Fireball or Poison, so it’s crucial to use them strategically.

Super Ice Golem

  • Elixir Cost: 4

The Super Ice Golem represents an enlarged, more influential variation of the standard Ice Golem. Upon its demise, it chills the entire battlefield, inflicting harm on all skeletons and initiating enemy King Towers. Although this freezing capability can alter the course of a game, be mindful of the potential for triggering the King Tower.

Super Magic Archer

  • Elixir Cost: 4

Without a shadow of a doubt, one card that truly grabs my attention is the Super Magic Archer. I’d describe it as a “troop charmer” in layman’s terms. This magical warrior has an enchanting skill that turns enemy troops, buildings, and towers to your side. The arrows this archer fires not only inflict damage but also convert enemies into allies, giving you the power to swiftly change the course of a battle with just one card.

Party Rocket

  • Elixir Cost: 5

Party Rocket introduces some Goblin troublemakers onto the battlefield, causing significant chaos. This card inflicts extensive area damage, transforming targeted troops into Goblins instead. However, it can’t harm Crown Towers, so strategic positioning is crucial. Its wide range makes it effective at thwarting enemy advances, so you’ll need to plan its use strategically.

Party Hut

  • Elixir Cost: 5

Simultaneously launched with Party Rocket, this Super card offers quite a bit of entertainment. It draws in all airborne creatures at a distance but inflicts damage on one target only. Upon destruction, it summons 3 Goblins, 3 Spear Goblins, and a Brawler Goblin.

Super Archers

  • Elixir Cost: 3

The Super Archers are a formidable force when it comes to defense. Their arrows not only penetrate adversaries but also generate mini-whirlwinds that shove troops away, making them exceptional at managing large groups. Thanks to their long range and resilience, they can withstand Fireball attacks quite well, making them particularly effective at thwarting enemy advances effectively.

Super Knight

  • Elixir Cost: 4

In his Super form, the Knight transforms into a protective ally. When Super Knight is on the move, he significantly reduces the damage taken by nearby allies and himself to just 1 unit. However, this protection ceases during an attack, making him ideal for supportive offensives. Timing your moves tactically can help prolong his protective shield.

Super Lava Hound

  • Elixir Cost: 8

The Enhanced Lava Dog, or Super Lava Hound, is an advanced version of the standard Lava Hound. It acts in much the same way but brings a unique twist: upon being destroyed, it divides into two smaller Lava Hounds. These miniature hounds are as resilient and produce four Lava Pups each when they are defeated.
