The Office star lands role on new Suits series

The latest spin-off of the show “Suits,” titled “Suits LA,” has welcomed three recognizable characters to appear as special guests. One of these is a familiar face from the American version of “The Office.

According to Variety, Brian Baumgartner, famously known for his role as Kevin Malone, is set to feature in an upcoming show along with Enrico Colantoni, who charmed us as Keith Mars on Veronica Mars, and the versatile Patton Oswalt.

According to the publication, all three will be playing fictional versions of themselves.

The late John Amos, in his final role, was also previously confirmed to be playing himself.

In a forthcoming appearance, actors Matt Letscher from the Arrowverse, Maggie Grace known for Fear the Walking Dead, and Sofia Pernas, star of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, will each portray distinct characters.

In the coming episodes, we can expect Gabriel Macht to reappear as Harvey Specter, a fact hinted at in recent promotional previews.

Ted Black, who used to be a lawyer handling big cases in New York, now works as a legal representative for influential clients in Los Angeles.

In a critical situation, Ted’s company needs him more than ever, forcing him to take on a role he’s always disdained in his profession. With an exceptional cast of characters by his side, Ted finds himself grappling with the tension between his allegiances to them and to himself. As they navigate through the complexities of their intertwined personal and professional lives, it becomes increasingly challenging for everyone involved.

Meanwhile, as we piece together the sequence of events from years past that caused Ted to abandon all he cherished and adored, these occurrences are taking place.

For eight years, the initial Suits show was broadcast, concluding in 2019. Following its release on streaming platforms, it experienced a significant resurgence in popularity, leading to impressive viewership figures and ultimately prompting the production of a sequel series.

Currently, it seems unlikely that the original series will be resurrected. Therefore, we’ll just have to keep watching to find out if any characters from the original show might appear as cameos or if there will be any developments related to them in the upcoming spin-off.

In the United States, the new season of Suits kicks off on NBC on Leap Day, February 29th. Additionally, it will be available for streaming on Peacock. At this time, a British broadcast channel or streamer has not been disclosed.
