Brawl Stars Ollie Guide: Abilities Breakdown
Ollie’s Passive/Trait
In simple terms, when Ollie gets hurt by opponent Brawlers or their items, his Super ability gets stronger. The speed at which his Super charges depends on how much harm the enemies inflict upon him.
Ollie’s Attack: Bring the Ruckus

His primary offensive move, “Create a Commotion,” emits soundwaves from his hoverboard, causing harm and penetrating through opponents, enabling you to strike several Brawlers simultaneously.
Ollie’s Super: Hypnotize
Using his “Hypnotize” ability, he can swiftly move forward on a hoverboard, simultaneously unleashing a musical surge that not only propels him but also inflicts harm and leaves surrounding foes mesmerized for approximately 2.5 seconds.

Meanwhile, as you crank up the music for a powerful blast, you’ll find that you can’t counterattack. Instead, the enchanted enemies will be compelled to approach you, though they remain uncontrollable by you.
Tips for using Ollie’s Super
- Use it to initiate a fight: You can use his Super to initiate a fight with the enemy Brawlers, dashing forward and hypnotizing your nearby enemies for a few seconds while also dealing damage. As a Tank, you can sustain significant damage so feel free to initiate with his Super.
- Launch a surprise attack: Ollie’s Super is also great for surprise attacks, as it lets you pull the hypnotized enemy towards you. This can be very useful in certain game modes to catch your enemies off guard.
- Take advantage of Renegade Star Power: You can pair Renegade with your Super to gain additional shield after dashing forward with the Super. While the shield lasts only 4 seconds, it is very useful in crucial scenarios.
Brawl Stars Ollie Guide: Gadgets and Star Power
Gadget
Regulate

As I’m triggered, Ollie leaps and executes an electrifying kickflip, leaving enemies at the landing zone spellbound for a full second. This handy gadget allows me to clear obstacles like walls or water, and while in mid-air, I gain an invulnerable shield against most forms of harm, except for status conditions and sustained damage.
All Eyez on Me

When you use this Gadget, Ollie’s next attack hypnotizes any enemies it hits for 1 second.
Star Power
Kick, Push

Using the Star Power, Kick, Push, our character leaps forward, accelerating his hoverboard significantly by around 20% when he’s close to walls.
Renegade

Utilizing the Star Power, Ollie acquires a protective shield of 4000 points that diminishes gradually over a span of 4 seconds following his dash with his Super ability.
Best Gears for Ollie in Brawl Stars
Shield Gear
For Ollie, the Tank/Taunt Brawler, the Shield Gear is extremely beneficial, enabling him to endure greater damage from opposing Brawlers. This equipment provides an extra 900 points of health as a temporary shield that recharges in just 10 seconds when his health is fully restored.
Health Gear
In a Tank Brawler scenario, swift health restoration is indispensable in matches, and Health Gear proves to be highly beneficial for Ollie. This equipment significantly boosts your healing capacity by approximately 50% during combat, synergizing splendidly with the Renegade Star Power.
Gadget Charge Gear
As a gamer, I find myself in awe of Ollie’s dual hypnotizing gadgets – they’ve got the enemy right where I want them! When it comes to building my setup, nothing beats the Gadget Charge Gear. Why? Because it lets me reuse those pesky hypnotic gizmos, giving me an extra opportunity to mesmerize my foes and tip the scales in my favor during each match.
