It is time for The House of Black to go on a strong run
It appears that All Elite Wrestling (AEW) might be revamping The House of Black. There’s speculation about Malakai Black, either leaving the company or retiring from wrestling altogether. After Julia Hart lost to Jamie Hayter on January 22nd, AEW showed a video of Hart, Brody King, and Buddy Mattews reaffirming their goals within AEW. This situation presents an opportunity for these three performers to be molded into a powerful presence in both the tag team division and as individual wrestlers.
Regarding Julia Hart, her current standing within All Elite Wrestling’s Women’s Division appears to be somewhat ambiguous. Previously holding the TBS Championship, Hart has had mixed results against the previous AEW Women’s Champion, Britt Baker. Specifically, they have faced each other twice, with one victory for Hart and one defeat. Additionally, Hart was eliminated from the Women’s Casino Gauntlet Battle Royal by being pinned down. At this point, it is questionable whether Hart remains a leading contender or if she is being moved to a lesser role within the roster. Currently, she seems to be lagging behind some of the more formidable figures in the women’s division.
At just 23 years old, there’s ample opportunity for Hart to rise to prominence within the division as a leading figure. In due time, it’s possible that she may claim the AEW Women’s World Championship title. The intriguing question is whether the House of Black will stand by her side when this milestone is achieved.
Apart from The Hurt Syndicate, we’ve got Buddy Matthews and Brody King, who could potentially dominate the tag team scene. Imagine a face-off between these two, along with Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley – now that’s a clash that would ignite excitement throughout the division!
Initially, it was suggested that Matthews might appear as a solo act and also be part of the storyline between Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega, and the Don Callis family in AEW. However, it seems that plan has changed. King has had his own singles career too, making waves in the AEW Continental Classic. Yet, there’s speculation that both performers could eventually embark on long-term solo journeys.
Enthusiasts harbored great expectations for The House of Black. They managed to acquire some victories, but the team never really evolved into the powerhouse fans envisioned. With Malakai Black rumored to have departed from AEW, let’s hope that Julia Hart, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews will forge their own paths towards individual triumphs.
