Understanding the Basics of Clan Capital in Clash of Clans
Have you ever pondered about a situation where members of a Clan collaboratively construct bases or engage in multiple attacks simultaneously? Such anarchy might be chaotic, but it would surely be thrilling! The concept is realized in the Clan Capital mode, which emphasizes this cooperative approach, enabling all clanmates to construct their bases and wage war together against rival clans.
To participate in Clan Capital, your Clan and village must fulfill certain requirements. Simply click on the Airship icon within the game to access Clan Capital mode. Engaging in Clan Battles offers numerous unique advantages and benefits for both the individual player and their entire Clan. These rewards will be explained further in subsequent sections, but they take the form of a specific currency.
Eligibility to play Clan Capital
As a gamer, here’s how I might put it: To get into Clan Capital action, there are just a couple of prerequisites. First off, your clan needs to be at least Level 2. When it comes to my own village, I need to have a Town Hall level of 6 or higher. Once I’ve ticked those boxes, I can hop on the Air Ship next to my Home Village and set sail for the Capital!
Breaking down different aspects of Clan Capital in Clash of Clans
Previously noted, this gameplay includes various villages, each with a distinct rank. They are systematically arranged, and as you progress through each rank, you gain the ability to enhance the villages, thereby gaining access to troops, buildings, and upgrading them further. The subsequent segments clarify the terms associated with Clan Capital and guide you on how to engage with this game mode effectively.
The Flying Machine, Forge, and the Trader
The Flying Vessel serves as a means of transportation taking you to the Clan Capital. In the game Clash of Clans, there’s a structure called Forge which is similar to an Air Ship. This building allows you to produce and gather small quantities of Capital Gold, the resource essential for upgrading your Capital buildings, daily. You can collect free Capital Gold every day.
If your Town Hall is at a higher level, you’ll have the ability to exchange resources for Capital Gold using your available Builders. This process requires a free Builder for resource-to-Capital Gold conversion. The Gold Pass Boost and Builder Potions can quicken and decrease the time taken to produce Capital Gold at the Forge. Additionally, you can finish an ongoing Capital Gold conversion with Gems.

As a dedicated gamer within our gaming community, I find that enhancing our Capital Hall is crucial for unlocking more bases and further upgrades. In other districts, you can also deploy soldiers simultaneously, and as you progress through levels, soldiers, infrastructure enhancements, and the overall power of your military can all be improved. Each district carries a specific motif, which helps players determine which soldiers they can recruit and advance.
After advancing your Capital Hall, you’ll gain access to six additional regions. Each region has its unique Regional Center. Enhancing the Regional Center within a particular region will grant you the ability to unlock higher upgrade tiers for buildings, traps, and troops specific to that area. Raid Weekends and Capital Raids
In the Clan Capital gameplay, participants engage in raids. The Raid Weekends is a special time when clans battle against other Clan Capitals. The primary goal of this mode is to demolish as many rival Clan Capitals as you can by successfully completing 3-star raids on all Capital Districts and then obliterating the Capital Peak. For their efforts, clans and players are rewarded with Capital Gold and Raid Medals.
1) The fight kicks off on Friday and wraps up on Monday. A total of 50 members from our clan are eligible to join this event, and each player gets the chance to engage in combat up to 5 times over the Raid Weekend. Bonus attacks become more likely if you manage a 3-star victory within the Clan District, but remember, the maximum extra attack you can secure is just one.
As a gamer, I’ve noticed that when I attack a Clan Capital village, any damage I inflict persists for the following attacks. For instance, if I manage to deal 10% damage without claiming any stars, that damage doesn’t disappear and will still be there for the next player in line. It remains until someone manages to completely conquer the village.
Furthermore, Traps won’t reset between each attack, meaning that if a trap has been activated during an attack, it will stay active. Similarly, after casting a spell, it will remain effective for one more attack before disappearing. For instance, if you use a Healing Spell, your clanmate can benefit from it during their next attack as the spell persists on the battlefield.
During the Raid Weekend event, your clan competes with others having similar building levels. This competition occurs once every opponent’s Clan Capital has been completely destroyed. Unlike regular multiplayer battles, head-to-head interaction is not allowed during this event, and you will only be attacking another player’s base, but they won’t be able to retaliate against yours. It’s similar to normal Multiplayer matches in that regard.
District Friendly Challenges
In the game, you can engage in District Friendly Contests, similar to Friendly battles in the Home Village setting. These contests serve as a way to showcase your Clan’s creativity in designing their Capital. Any member of the Clan is free to initiate a District Friendly Contest, but only one contest per district can be ongoing at any given time. When a District Challenge is active, players will deploy their Capital Army while attacking that district. Your fellow clan members can continue to attack the same district until it has been defeated.
The instigator of a Challenge is also eligible to join the assaults, aiming to maximize the challenge’s potential and boost the base. To avoid replicating enemy districts for strategic attack planning, District Challenges will be temporarily halted and unavailable for issuance during Raid Weekends.
Clan Capital Layouts
In order to join and triumph in the Clan Capital event, it’s crucial to have an optimal base setup. Fellow Clan members can assist in creating the best possible base, but only the Leader and Co-Leaders are authorized to make these adjustments. It’s important to note that any layout changes made during the Raid Weekend event will not be implemented until after the matchmaking process is completed.
Concerning the setup of base layouts for Capital Peak, there isn’t a “Copy Base” feature at the moment. This means you can’t directly replicate an existing reference base. Instead, you’ll need to arrange your bases manually within your Capital Peak village. Keep an eye out here as we plan to provide base layouts for levels up to Level 5 of Clan Capital Peak, including District bases in the future.
Terrains and Defenses
As an avid fan, I’ll walk you through the varied terrains and defensive structures that make up Clan Capital. Each aspect serves its unique purpose, contributing to the strategic depth of this exciting game.
Terrains in Clan Capital
- Water – Buildings cannot be placed on water and ground Troops cannot cross water terrain. However, using a Frost Spell will create a frozen surface for your Troops to traverse across the frozen water. If a ground unit is forced to spawn on water terrain, it will automatically be relocated to the nearest land point with a 2 Tile range. If no land terrain is within 2 tiles, then that spawned unit will die instantly. Flying troops can bypass water.
- Cliffs – Cliff terrain demonstrates an elevation change. Hence ground troops cannot bypass the Cliff terrain and will need to walk around it. Flying troops will be able to fly over Cliffs.
- Bridges – Buildings may not be placed on a bridge. Ground units will be able to cross a bridge, but canny base builders can take advantage of the narrow passage to create choke points in your defenses to funnel enemy troops into your defensive damage.
Defenses in Clan Capital
- Cannon – Ground only defense. Functions the same as Cannons in your Home Village and Builder Base.
- Air Defense – Air-only defense, targets air troops.
- Super Giant Post – Super Giants are defensive Troops when you build a Super Giant Post.
- Super Dragon Post – As defensive units, they will rain down burning devastation from the skies.
- Siege Cart Post – Works similar to the ones in Builder Bases.
- Super Wizard Tower – Tower equipped with Super Wizards.
- Rocket Artillery – Eagle Artillery, but with a Rocket.
- Inferno Tower – Targets both ground and air troops, and works similar to the one in the Home Village.
- Giant Cannon – If you thought one Giant Cannon in Builder Base was devastating, just imagine how your enemies feel when there are several on the battlefield.
- Mega Tesla – Power electrical defense, targets both air and ground troops. Works similar to that of Builder Base.
- Bomb Tower – Forbidden bowling. It happens when Skeletons get a hold of explosive ordnance.
- Multi Mortar – It will be fun seeing how Builder Base defenses will be devastating on a much larger battlefield during Capital Raids.
- Air Bombs – Air-only trap.
- Crusher – Ground only defense dealing with area damage.
- Blast Bow – A massive ballista that causes splash damage with its explosive attacks.
- Multi Cannon – A rapid-firing cannon with multiple barrels.
- Rapid Rockets – Shorter range than Air Defense but deals more damage.
- Zap Trap – Zaps enemies nearby.
- Spear Thrower – Turn both air and ground units into kebabs with a dangerous lance of disaster.
- Log Trap – Area damage, ground only.
- Mines – Traps that deal area damage.
- Mega Mine – Bigger damage, bigger area, bigger boom.
- Capital Hall – The Capital Hall has its own projectile defensive weapon that will unleash destruction and mayhem upon enemy attackers.
Army Training
In contrast to the way you train troops in your Home Village or Builder Base, there’s no waiting period for training troops here. Instead, they are immediately prepared and ready for battle. To train your army, simply use the Training option available in the Army Camp within the Clan Districts. The capacity of the Army Camp corresponds to the total power of all the Capital Districts combined. Similar to the Home Village, the troops from the Army Camps do not defend your village.
Regardless of their rank within the clan, any member can make use of the open troops and spells housed at the Clan Capital prior to embarking on a battle. If your clan successfully unlocks Super Dragons in the Dragon Cliffs District, all members will gain the ability to train these dragons for their individual battles from the Clan Capital. Characters from Builder Base and Home Village won’t be accessible for combat.

In the Clan Capital, you can only access troops after constructing specific barracks, a system different from that of the Home Village. In Home Villages, they perform the same function. To cast spells, you need to construct a Spell Factory for each individual spell. At present, there are five spells available in the Clan Capital.

In contrast to Home Village, the spells used here do not expire during attacks and persist throughout them. Instead, upgrading their respective factories will upgrade the spells. For any upgrades, clan members are required to contribute the necessary Capital Gold.
Rewarding
In this game, players can acquire rewards through Capital Gold and Raid Medals. The Capital Gold serves a crucial role as it’s used to enhance buildings within your capital city. You can obtain Capital Gold by crafting resources found in the Forge, which are specific to both the Home Village and Builder Base. It’s essential to note that during each attack, your Capital Gold is at risk of being taken.
In the game, Raid Medals serve as an additional currency that players can utilize. Players accumulate Raid Medals by participating in Clan Capital assaults. They can then donate troops from their Clan Castle or buy troops and trade goods using these medals. Following the conclusion of Raid Weekend, you’ll be able to review the overall rewards for both offensive and defensive outcomes as well as the total loot earned from the Capital.
