As a passionate fan, I can’t wait for the “Moonlight Amidst Dreams” update in Genshin Impact on February 12th, 2025. This exciting new version takes us back to Inazuma, where we reconnect with old friends and meet some fresh, friendly faces. The highlight of this patch is the arrival of a new character, Yumemizuki Mizuki, and the chance to participate in the Mikawa Flower Festival!

Genshin Impact Version 5.4 update: New Characters and Re-Runs

Yumemizuki Mizuki: 5-star Anemo Catalyst user

Introducing a fresh addition to Inazuma, we have Yumemizuki Mizuki, a character making her initial appearance. This newcomer is a 5-star user of the Anemo Catalyst. When her Dreamdrifter state is activated by her Elemental Skill, she unleashes an Area-of-Effect Anemo damage and boosts Swirl DMG for the entire team. Her Elemental Burst conjures up a Mini Baku that prepares Yumemi Style Special Snacks.

As a gamer, I’ve come across some pretty unique party members, but this one really stands out. The heal or explode mechanic of these Snacks depends on their HP. Talk about versatility! What’s more thrilling is her backstory – she’s rumored to be a clinical psychologist and a shareholder of the Aisa Bathhouse. To top it off, she’s childhood friends with Yae Miko. Now, that’s an intriguing character!

In Version 5.5, Mizuki is set to be added to the common banner, also known as the Standard Wish banner. This means that there’s a possibility for you to acquire her if she doesn’t appear in her featured banner!

Re-runs and Chronicled Wish

Mizuki’s initial appearance and Sigewinne’s return kick off the first part of Event Wishes in Version 5.4. Later on, there will also be reruns for Furina and Wriothesley during the second half of the update. This lineup offers a variety to suit everyone’s taste!

Genshin Impact Version 5.4 update: Mikawa Flower Festival and Limited Events

To start off, the Mikawa Flower Festival in Inazuma is the main event coming up in our region. This centuries-old celebration, which honors the relationship between humans and supernatural beings, seems ideal for emotional reunions and exhilarating trials. Raiden Shogun is expected to show up, delving into a puzzling nightmare that promises to keep us all on tenterhooks.

Exciting Festival Games

The upcoming event is sure to feature a variety of entertaining mini-games that I’m really looking forward to! One game, “A Little Fox’s Daydream,” has me especially curious because it allows you to lead a fox through captivating dreamscapes as you gather delectable Fried Tofu. For those who enjoy challenging puzzles, “Bunshin Phantasm” promises an intellectually stimulating experience where strategy reigns supreme. Lastly, the revamped “Akitsu Harpastum” is certain to put our reflexes to the test as we dodge bullets and hurl the harpastum in a fast-paced game that’s sure to be chaotic in all the right ways!

At the Festival, you can swap your event tokens (known as Festival Stamps) for a variety of prizes, such as the recently introduced 4-Star Polearm called “Tamayuratei no Ohanashi“. It seems tailor-made for certain character setups!

Additional Limited Events

In addition to new storylines and occurrences, this update also offers several temporary events where you can collect primogems and other goodies. These events include “Travelers’ Tales: Anthology Chapter“, “Reel Ad-Venture“, “The Invasive Fish Wrangler“, and “Realm of Tempered Valor“. Each of these limited events will be accessible during the patch.

Genshin Impact Version 5.4 update: New permanent features and QOL updates

The revised “Level-Up Strategies” within the “User Manual” significantly enhance character advancement, proving particularly beneficial for beginners. Additionally, the refined sorting options for Characters and Weapons are appreciated, as is the new “Auto Include” feature for “Weapon Enhancement”. Although these changes may appear minor, they represent valuable time-saving modifications that will prove invaluable in the future.

All in all, the Version 5.4 update appears to be an outstanding enhancement tailored especially for Inazuma enthusiasts such as ourselves. From the captivating festival ambiance to the creative gameplay features and careful optimizations, it’s evident that HoYoverse is putting in a lot of effort. Regardless if you’re drawn by the storyline, the difficulties, or the opportunity to draw Mizuki and other re-run characters, this update seems to offer something unique for everyone!
