1. Use the Perfect Composition

Previously, I mentioned that Path to Nowhere consists of six classes. However, it’s not compulsory to utilize all six. The crucial aspect is selecting a tank character capable of enduring damage at the front line, such as Endura or Fury, followed by a character who can inflict heavy damage on enemies efficiently, like Umbra or Arcane.

As a fan, I can express that this team setup allows me to effectively aid my fellow players, either in defensive follow-ups or offensive attacks. I offer supportive abilities such as Reticle or Catalyst to boost our strength, or potentially debilitate the enemy with these powerful tools. With such a composition, I feel confident and prepared for any battle, knowing that each team member has their unique role to play, making us an unstoppable force against sin.

2. Pay attention to the enemy’s stats and attack path

Prior to the engagement, you’ll have access to the stats and the enemy’s planned route, from one point to another. Let’s first go over the statistics. Simply tap on the location where the enemy appears initially, then tap on the enemy itself, and you’ll receive a description along with its stats.

As a gamer, I always keep an eye on three key stats: Defense, Magic Defense, and SAN Loss. If the enemies tend to have higher defense values, it’s wise to opt for Arcane since it often dishes out magic damage, making it a strategic counter. Conversely, when my Magic Defense is stronger, I prefer using Umbra and Reticle as they deal physical damage. Lastly, SAN Loss represents the life force of my character, which gets depleted whenever an enemy strikes.

To determine the enemy’s attacking direction, simply tap on their spawn area. Once you know where they’re coming from, you can devise an effective strategy to protect your chief from harm. It’s best to station your tankers at the forefront, covering the potential attack path, followed by other roles and classes in the rear.

3. Pay attention to the sinner attack range

Attack ranges for sinners vary, with Endurance typically having just a single square and Fury boasting 4-9 squares surrounding the sinner. Other sinners tend to have longer attack ranges. The importance of attack range becomes apparent when placing a sinner in front, as you want to ensure there’s another sinner positioned behind it to avoid friendly fire. This setup allows the sinners to protect each other, preventing missed attacks during gameplay.

4. Level up your Shine

Before engaging in combat, it’s often suggested to boost your character level. This serves as a prelude or preparation for the battle. So, remember to regularly elevate your character level, as the challenge grows tougher as the mission progresses, and the enemies will only get harder to defeat.

You can elevate sinners using Discoins and Mania Essence, both of which can be acquired from various event rewards, Gold Rush, and Seed of Ill Omen. Additionally, there’s an alternative route called Shackle, but you’ll need a duplicate of the sinner to strengthen the process. Instead of “Level Up,” you can also progress through “Shackle.

5. Always deploy Sinner with a red icon

In a fight, the character marked by the red icon has the ability to cripple the main force of the enemy. Therefore, during battles, it’s crucial to utilize the skills of characters with the red icon symbol, especially against enemies who tend to have higher health levels. This is because when the skill is activated on a character with the red icon, they can stun their opponent, which is extremely beneficial in combat situations.
