Karen Gillan Preps for First Night Out Since Baby Clementine’s Birth
Showing off a confident stance, actress Karen Gillan seems all set to rejoice in motherhood during her initial night out following the birth of her daughter, Clementine.
The actress, originally from Inverness, shared several pictures highlighting her attire while getting ready for what she referred to as ‘her first night out as Mama’.
Although it’s unclear which popular spot in her adopted city, Los Angeles, the 37-year-old actress chose for her night out, we can surely envision it being fitting for her star status.
For that special event, she chose a black dress with thumb holes, resembling a sweater-dress, teamed up with thick, black ankle boots.
The well-known actress, recognized for portraying alien Nebula across multiple Marvel films, has been over the moon ever since she and her spouse, Nick Kocher, aged 38, became parents to their first child late last year.
Gillan moved to California in 2013, yet she openly expresses that Inverness remains her hometown, and she looks forward to going back there sometime in the future.
At the beginning of this month, she showcased her newborn daughter Clementine to her vast audience on social platforms for the very first time.
Actress from Jumanji, aged 37, along with her spouse, Mr. Kocher (38), posted a series of photos on Instagram showing their family time together at home with the latest addition.
From Inverness, the actress is spotted holding Clementine close, while Mr. Kocher appears in a photo gently carrying his little girl.

The Inverness-born actress hugs Clementine, and Mr. Kocher carries his baby daughter in photos.
A third image shows the couple sitting together and Mr Kocher holding a ‘Best Dad Ever’ mug.
Ms Gillan announced her pregnancy at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2024.
She debuted her baby bump on the red carpet while promoting her film The Life of Chuck.
Lately, she was seen in Los Angeles, strolling her newly-arrived baby in a gray pram. However, neither the baby’s name nor its gender was disclosed initially.
In 2018, Ms Gillan revealed her desire to eventually have children.
On Michael Rosenbaum’s Inside of You podcast, she expressed her desire for the conversation, stating that it would undoubtedly be amusing.
I believe I could make an excellent mother. I have this strong feeling that I’d excel at engaging with my children, connecting with them on their level as if I were one of them.
