17-Team, known for creating the popular _Worms_ series, has disclosed plans for a company rebranding. The new name will be everyplay Group PLC, replacing Team17 Group PLC. However, Team17 Digital will keep its current moniker and continue functioning as a publisher. This rebrand is seen as a strategic step to expand the company’s reach and generate more value, taking it beyond its current state.

The company’s new name symbolizes its business growth since its initial public offering in 2018, when it was listed on the London Stock Exchange. Now, the company is organized into three separate divisions, each specializing in different areas within the video games and apps sector. The name ‘everplay’ was chosen because it represents the company’s continuous passion for play and its commitment to offering endless entertainment.

Under the banner of the everplay Group, Team17 Digital, with its longstanding brand identity, will persist as it has for over 30 years. Similarly, astragon Entertainment and StoryToys, both part of the everplay Group family, will continue their operations. The name change will become official in early February.
