Jessy Potts Claps Back at Joey Essex After Shocking Reunion with Ex Revealed!

Jessy Potts harshly criticized her former boyfriend, Joey Essex, following Grace Jackson’s disclosure that they had met not long after Joey ended things.

Last year, for a short while, Joey and Grace revived their romantic relationship at the villa, but then Joey began pursuing a bond with Jessy instead.

Despite leaving the villa smitten, Joey and Jessy announced their split just seven weeks after.

Upon hearing Grace disclose, during Wednesday’s episode, that she and Joey reconnected in a playful manner following his breakup, I couldn’t help but share my thoughts:

Sharing a video from Grace’s Instagram conversation, she captioned it: “Looks like everything is being revealed, doesn’t it?

During the heated conversation, Olivia Hawkins posed a question to Grace: “Did you talk to Joey after you departed?

Grace said: ‘He contacted me after a gap of about four months. Prior to that, we hadn’t been in touch. He texted me saying something along the lines of, “Would you be willing to chat?”‘

‘Did you meet up?’, Olivia asked. 

Grace replied: ‘Yeah’, Olivia added: ‘Was it flirty?’

‘A tad. When I noticed his name on my phone, it took my breath away, almost as if I had gasped. I found myself quite fond of him, and I suspect that affection will remain. Regardless of the passage of time, I’ll continue to hold him dear.’

‘It’s amazing in here with him but then it’s his outside life’, Grace added.

At that point, Joey and Jessy shared that they were attempting to keep their relationship alive. However, following their departure from the Love Island villa, it became apparent that things weren’t destined to work out between them.

Joey shared with The Sun, “Sadly, we’ve chosen to part ways, but I am hoping we can still maintain a friendship. I sincerely hope that Jessy achieves great things in her future endeavors.

Jessy mentioned that she valued the Love Island journey she shared with Joey, however, despite our best efforts, things didn’t turn out as planned.

I am deeply appreciative of everyone who has been with us, and I eagerly anticipate the thrilling possibilities that lie ahead.

While Grace was sharing tales from her dating past with the others, Olivia inquired about her relationship with Marcus Rashford.

Grace said: ‘We weren’t dating, but we were like chatting a little bit.’

Grace pointed out: ‘Indeed, it’s challenging since he can’t easily set up an ordinary date due to certain circumstances.’

A spokesperson close to the footballer last month denied they were in a relationship.

In the past, Marcus was involved in a long-standing romance with his childhood friend Lucia Loi. However, their relationship ended during the summer of 2023.
