Stephanie Rice’s Honeymoon Gym Gains: See Her Jaw-Dropping Transformation!

Stephanie Rice isn’t skipping arms day – even on her honeymoon.

On this day in Paris, the Australian swimming legend, aged 38, and her husband Mark Lassey, 46, started their Thursday with an invigorating strength training session that got their hearts racing.

In a confident display, Steph showcased her well-defined biceps and strong legs while recording herself performing a series of bicep curls using 9kg weights, followed by exercises targeting her shoulders with upright cable rows.

Despite the freezing 6°C weather in Paris, she made a face as she lifted the weights, beads of sweat streaming down her face, dressed in her red bike shorts and cropped top.

This morning’s workout was fantastic! I’m thrilled about the advancements in my strength throughout the year,” said the three-time gold medalist as she shared her workout clips.

‘Excited to set some new fitness goals for 2025 when back from holidays!’

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share my excitement about the journey of the beloved Olympic swimmer and his lovely bride! After basking in the tropical paradise of the Maldives for their honeymoon bliss, they touched down in the city of love – Paris. The romance is palpable as they embark on this new chapter of their lives!

After her morning workout, Steph and Mark headed to Angelina Café near the Louvre museum.

This centuries-old Parisian coffeehouse is renowned for its rich hot chocolate, which is crafted using cocoa beans sourced from Africa, specifically Niger, Ghana, and the Ivory Coast.

The recipe is incredibly popular in France, with the company opting to bottle it for online sales and stocking it in numerous French supermarkets as well.

As I sipped that heavenly drink this afternoon, every calorie I sweat out at the gym this morning seemed to vanish before my eyes – truly an understatement for how rich it tasted! (Steph’s caption on a video of her husband)

Steph added she wasn’t able to finish drinking hers.

The pair visited the Louvre, capturing their honeycomb moments near the iconic glass pyramid entryway for photographs, followed by a loving walk along the River Seine.

Steph wrote as a caption for the picture, “I find it hard to accept that athletes swam here during the Olympics,” accompanied by an expression indicating discomfort or disgust.

Steph stepped away from competitive swimming back in 2014, ten years ago, having swum her last Olympic race in London.

She wrote, “It’s really unique that neither Mark nor I have visited Paris before, which means we get to experience it together for the very first time, as these series of pictures show.

I’ve deliberately avoided visiting this place, as I feared it might intensify my longing for love and underscore my singleness in a city known for romance.

To be here, right now, as a spouse sharing this journey with my dearest friend, it’s a powerful demonstration of the compassionate nature of God and the miraculous speed at which he can transform our lives.

Following an unexpected surprise, Rice tied the knot for a second time in Perth, just ten months into a passionate romance with local pastor Mark, whom she encountered upon moving to Dubai.

The couple met at the start of 2024 and got engaged in September after seven months of dating.

Steph returned to Australia to finish her Business MBA, and she’s been maintaining a long-distance relationship since November.

To all you hopeful single ladies, remember that divine connections can happen swiftly, like magic… have faith in God’s timeline and his design for you, it might just be waiting for you, only a moment away.

On LinkedIn, it’s stated that Mark has served as a pastor with the same organization in Perth for over a decade.

Since its inception in Perth back in 2003, Kingdom City has expanded its reach on a global scale, now boasting locations not only in the Middle East but also in Africa, Europe, and Asia as well.

Steph became a member of the church upon moving to Dubai towards the end of last year, and currently plays an active role within Kingdom City.

Mark is a father to three sons – Tyler, Joel and Luke – from a previous relationship.

He expressed that she embodies his long-held dream, commenting on her post. This demonstrates that God indeed provides opportunities for fresh starts and second chances. I cherish sharing this journey called life with my dearest companion.

During her stint on SAS Australia in October 2023, Steph found herself weeping profusely. She spoke candidly about her struggle to find meaning since leaving swimming behind, as well as her deep yearning for companionship.

She confided in Ant Middleton that she found it extremely challenging, adding that she felt quite disoriented following her swim.

‘I didn’t feel like I had any purpose or any direction and I didn’t feel like anybody understood.

It seems as though I’ve been lacking a purpose or focus in my training routine ever since I stopped competing. In essence, I feel like I haven’t set any definite goals that drive me to practice consistently.

Later on, Ant inquired about the plans awaiting the Australian swimming sensation once she was back home following the event.

‘At the moment, not a lot,’ she replied.

It’s pleasant to consider having a companion during difficult periods. I’d appreciate someone by my side, helping me navigate through, just as one rides the waves together.

Her love life has previously made headlines around the world.

Following the Beijing Olympics, whispers circulated about Steph’s potential romantic connections with Michael Phelps (former American swimmer), David ‘Wolfman’ Williams (ex-NRL player) and Australian swimming rebel Nic D’Arcy.
